You wrong for that, you don't know what this woman had to endure. Even dogs have their snapping point after you mistreat them wrong for along time.

Sad to say, but, most of the time when justice has not been served,is because the woman ends up dropping charges. If the charges get dropped, then the abuser can sue for false arrest. And even sadder,a small percentage of these women have been brain-washed to believe was warranted or deserved.

Spoken like a wife beater. If one person beats another, they deserve what they get in return. There should be zero tolerance for domestic abuse!

Alot of people who are abused, are afraid to leave their spouse for different reasons. If I was being beat like this woman was, I would of reacted the same way as her, if I was in her situation. Luckerly for me, I have 2 grown sons, who in return who of beat his butt, if he was beating on me. No male or female should endure that abuse..

Unfortunately the media lets out just enough information for people like those of you who are so small sminded as to call this a "copy cat killer" or to think divorce is the only answer, those of you who have obviously not lived with alcoholism and in domestic violence and are completely uneducated about both. To reply to all of you uneducated and ignorant people who feel they have some ingenious insight into such a horible situation...If this was a copy cat killer situation, she would have shot and killed him a long time ago and yes, she could have left the marriage a long time ago...However, if you knew anything about the subject you'd realize that almost every time a woman kills a man in a domestic situation, it is because she feared for her life because she is about to be killed herself.
My family has lived in total **** with an alcoholic and physically and emotionally abusive husband and father for 41 years. We, the four daughters, have witnessed the abuse and been involved in the abuse. However, we loved our father and we love our mother and guess what? Our mother loved her husband! She did get help at various points in her life but HE didn't and wouldn't because he wouldn't even admit he had a problem. Alcoholism is a disease, just like drug addiction.
We have always and will always be around for our mother though we are adults and married, with our own children. We couldn't be there 24 hours a day. This tragic event occurred as my father planned it-when it was just the two of them and their beloved dog in the house.
I hope all of you make it a point to do a little research on alcoholism and domestic violence in an effort to educate yourself and those around you that are experiencing this because I guarantee you there is someone close to you who lives in the same **** as my family. I applaud any woman who has the courage to do what my mother has done for 43 years and what she did on January 26, 2007.

There was no excuse for this murder. Women have a license to kill. I grew up in a home with an alcoholic stepfather, but I never saw him lay a hand on my mother. On the other hand, I saw my mother beat him to the ground with a weapon. Then she called the police and had him arrested. On two occassions, she tried to shot him. Again, the police let her off the hook. This behavior from my mother continued all through my life. All I can say is thanks to the feminist who have made my life a living hell. The domestic violence industry $$$ is dead wrong with their approach to domestic violence.

You're right "copy cat" and all men like you, you should be careful--it's idiotic attitudes like yours that result in these deadly situations.
