So what made this guy think he was so special that he could ignore NYS law?

These Tea Party people are all about letting the states make their own laws, but I guess he thinks he does not have to obey NYS law

Have seen several stories on this, but nothing mentioned as-to if he was following TSA procedure for transporting his FA, and ran afoul of a NYC 'technicality' which happens sometimes.

Or being used in a crime where the former owner is charged with that crime.

And the McDonald v Chicago case incorporated the restrictions of the 2nd Amendment into the 14th Amendment making them applicable to the State and Local governments. It's a violation of the 14th Amendment.

WRONG ANSWER!!!!!!
.
The Second Article of Amendment amends the WHOLE U.S. Constitution, and Article VI, paragraph (2)—the 'supremacy clause'— APPLIES EVERYWHERE the United States has authority.
.
TO WIT:
——————————

U.S. Constitution
MAIN PAGEANNOTATIONS
ARTICLE VI

All debts contracted and engagements entered into, before the adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.

This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding.

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.
——————————
.
GERMANE POINT:
.
"This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding."
.
GOT THAT?
.
Further to that, the 14th Article of Amendment APPLIES the BIll of Rights TO THE STATES.
.
BOTH the recent Heller and McDonald decisions are also germane.
.
Any questions?

Yeah that has happened more than once. Or a gun gets confiscated and used before the owner gets it back all banged up and dirty.
