She deserves whatever punishment the judge gives her! She can be thankful that she's still being fed & watered while she's behind bars!!!

Remember this when we ask the county board to upgrade it's companion animal care standards again this year.

Throw the book at them...take everything they own to pay for the care of the dogs and give them jail time. Don't let them walk away from this teach them a lesson.

The article says "not been living at the house on Rockfish Valley Highway for more than two years" So if she wasn't living there how can she be charged for animal abuse at that home? Animals like to try to live in abandoned houses all the time. Its warm, dry and no one bothers em. Maybe they left something out of the article? Anyone else confused?

To FreelanceEMT: Maybe because stray dogs don't put themselves in locked pins and then leave their water buckets outside the fenced area where they die because they can't dig to it. They owned the house, and do not appear to have been renting it out. They are responsible for the dead dogs in garbage bags and the sick ones living in filth. Look at some of the earlier news articles.

Freelance,

So i guess the dogs put themselves in the pens and shut themselves in the house all on their own, huh? I'm confused, but only by why someone would do this

Something has to be missing. I am sure she can be charged based on the fact her name is on the deed. If the house was rented it's a ground for appeal. If she did not reside but the husband did she might have a ground to appeal. I am sure if she goes for the full trail the DA will have to investigate these senerios and her appointed lawyer will be having all the proof needed.

I guess God can take a break from passing judgement. We have all the judges we need right here in the comment section.

Whatever monies/properties, these people have should be sold and ALL monies go to benefit mistreated animals. Look a these A----! do they look like they lack money, shelter, food or water. If she gave a rats --- she would have called way before now. if her local shelter wouldn't help, she could have called someone, anyone [rescue league, vet, ASPCA) to keep this from happening. obvious this isn't just something going on for a short time.
Whether there were renters or not,They owned the land and they should KNOW what is going on! I am curious though, is this property so remote that no one smelled the odor, no sounds from starving/ thirsty dogs. I too wonder how it all adds up.
I hope everyone does know there are groups that steal dogs and do HORRIBLE things to them, including live sacrifice. So where did all the dogs come from?

I wish they would treat the child Molesters as they treat people for Animal cruelty.I just can't believe Child Molesters get tap on the hand and released back into the population to cause more harm. I also feel Vick was used to set an example of, set examples of these Child Molesters. I don't want to see animals harmed or children harmed, and I'm a owner of two dogs, but please the lady made the phone call herself, how many Child Molesters call on themselves?

she couldn't live in the house it was too disgusting thats why she left the dogs there and moved . now they need to go where she is residing and check things out. she should be forced to live in that house in the poor conditions its in and not be allowed to leave.
she must be still living in dog crape you can see it on her shoes when she shows up to work at Boars Head.
