A former Nelson County Sheriff's Deputy is on probation after a violent domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend last fall.

So you mean to tell me that I could commit multiple felonies and a firearms charge, and all I need to do to get a lighter sentence is to get a few family memebers to vouch for me? What a crock of sh*t. If this was anybody else they'd be serving the entire sentence.

WRONG ! He served 8+ months & has 5-10 years probation & can not vote, have gun ,drink or drugs, & get a real job . It was a real bad nite for both , but a lot of unknown things [as always ] in this crime + he had a good record & served the public well till this terrible event ! That nite ruined his & her life forever over drugs & alcohol. Good luck & skill for the future to both of them.

It was a bad night, NOTE he hurt a woman , he is guilty, but as always you do not know the man or the pleasant victim, it could & many of domestic violence are, much worse, You just hate police , I hate drugs & alcohol ! First [& real bad offense ] & bet if he never drinks & goes to AA, NA he will never do anything like this again & will make him a better man , & sorry for Ms. Campbell, but goggle her , bet you would not like his easy punishment if you knew the whole story & it was you! Cops have the same issues as anyone else. Tell me you've never had a argument with your mate and I will tell you that you lie. Some people are just better at creating drama than others and I am a woman and I am speaking of a woman. Not all men are as guilty as they are made out to be. I bet had she reacted the way he did to the "issue" she would get all the love and comfort in the world. Just because we are women does not always mean we are innocent. Just trying to see things from all sides.

Man i got 2 years on just a shooting into a occupied dwelling ie domestic.. Man who was this guys attorney??? I had no priors either... I had to do 2 yrs in a level 3 prison.. Man the Good Oh Boy network works again. 8 months in jail for all his charges... Omg

Yeah, thanks goes to the military for helping in the spawning of these testosterone boosted, violent tempered, never thinking, killing machines with mental illness and then giving them a super recommendation to our police departments. Remmember ladies, number one and two in domestic violence, military and police officers. This has PTSD all over it!

My point exactly! I mean this guy's no better than anybody else, yet he seemingly got a slap on the wrist compared to what would have happened to the average Joe. 8 months for felony abduction and shooting into an occupied dwelling is a joke!
