Do you have an obsession with my obsession? lol. I see you've found the Yulee forum. The thing that has my attention is that gay students lacks certain rights and protections in our tax dollar supported school systems. I just want to do my part to help protect students from violence, bullying, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, and bigotry. I think a Gay-Straight Alliance would be good to curb such things. It's terrible growing up gay in the Nassau County School system. I don't want anyone else to have to go through that. Students have rights and the school board has a responsibility to protect our children from homophobia, heterosexism, and violence just like they do from from racism, etc.

Pa Tooey:

I welcome you to come chat with us all on the Yulee and Gay/Lesbian forums:

I like the name Pa Tooey by the way. It reminds me of the Pa Tooies on Super Mario Bros. 3. I've always been a fan of the Mario games.

I hope that I can help you to understand the importance of protecting students, gay students, and having a Gay-Straight Alliance in schools nationwide.

No, I have an obsession with you coming up to our blog and trying to force your views on us. Obviously we don't have the same concerns as you otherwise we would be in the paper. Any kid that is different will get teased and will continue til eternity. One solution is not to be gay. The kids have a saying, "thats gay". Have you ever wondered how that came about? There is no way I can argue the gay issue and I won't. Don't you think the kids in your area that want to have a cornhole club should be allowed? Shouldn't it be in the year book? Shouldn't the activities get coverage. Hold it, if we have a cornhole club we need lickedysplit club too. The problem is with the ACLU. This is how they make money.

You are totally ignorant and a moron. Why are you even posting on this forum anyway ? If you don't like gay people, why are you here annoying everyone ?

Gay-Straight Alliances are ALLOWED to be formed in schools according to FEDERAL LAW ! The pertinent law is called the Equal Access Act and it was signed into law by President Regan.

Why don't you educate yourself instead of constantly showing your ignorance, stupidity, and hate ?

PEACE !

:)

Isn't that what blogs are for? You mean forum board anyway, right? So if a kid is born gay or black or is Jewish you feel kids have rights to discriminate against them and physically harm them? Well people that have that attitude may end up getting themselves put in the slammer if they carry that hatred too far. If you attack someone physically you need to go to jail, kid or adult. That's is not acceptable in our society. I don't understand why you condone students spending their time harassing homosexuals when they school should be keeping them busy learning. This ACLU case is national now. It's not just a Yulee, FL or Nassau County, FL issue anymore. You present yourself like you have such high morals but you certainly have a dirty vocabulary. Is that how good Christian people talk? Does the word Gay-Straight (emphasis on straight) Alliance mean anything to you? If you did more research on the issue than on me you would find out that it has nothing to do with the acts of homosexual sexual intercourse.

Explain to me, sir, how I've "forced" my views on everyone just by posting an article. I'm not telling anyone they have to like homosexuals or agree with the Gay-Straight Alliance but it is the law that they can have a club and that students who commit crimes against them should be charged just like anyone else. When you preach hatred and bigotry towards minority groups is that not forcing your views on them?

For those who are curious these are the threads I've posted that Pa Tooey feels I'm forcing my views upon everyone. Kingsland, GA and St. Mary's, GA are in Camden County, Georgia which is adjacent to Yulee, Nassau County, Florida. I have family and friends that live in Camden, by the way. Here are the links, click on them and read our comments:
