well im not a guilty dog. the pics show nothing but the side of my boat torn off by a tree. one of the people on my boat went to see the boat today at the wreckage, and she said there was a certain colored cooler with a certain type of beer in cans that was collected out of the water. that cooler was never in my boat nor canned beer. i intend on getting to the bottom of that, and the fact that the other driver wasnt breathalized. call me crazy, but it seems like everyone knows everyone around there to me.
Did you see Chad throw the cooler out of his boat at the scene???

If not then it would be nice to know who put if there if it was not yours!

When I came to the scene before anyone else, before the fwc, there was a green colored cooler (if i remember correctly) floating in the water with Jack Daniels Drinks (red punch) in it, they were unopened, the bud lights were floating in your boat and in the water, all were empty! Now thatís the honest to god truth!

We stayed with the boat until the FWC showed up!

Actually I called 911 and told then to get ambulances to the Kings Ferry Boat Ramp because I seen some of yall were bleeding! When I spoke with Nassau County Dispatch they had not been notified of the accident, so yall would have been sitting and waiting on help! We were trying to be good Samaritans and help!

I can promise to you nobody put them cans there,,, the only thing that was touched before the fwc got there was pieces of fiberglass floating in the middle of the river! The boat was upright when we arrived, and we saw it sink! There was leather flip-flops, tube, wakeboard, life vest, etc put on the bank.

I feel somewhat annoyed that people on here would think that this was plotted or planned!

NOBODY from our boat had alcohol and nobody from out boat placed cans at the scene!

I do agree though ALL parties involved should have been tested for blood alcohol levels!

you are right they should have. no green cooler was in my boat or cans. maybe somebody else dropped it in there then. i know for a fact that we didnt have that cooler. we had a white styrofoam cooler, on of little cheap ugly ones.

mr ratliff, i am sorry you misundertood what i said. i NEVER said it was your fault. read my comments again; and maybe you can understand it.all i said was the guilty dog barks first. do you know what that means??
i am just thankful no one was killed or worse (there are some things worse than death) and i am sorry if you think i accused you for being at fault. i read and listen to the news is how i knew it. and scott; i am not a moot!and my opinion is not flawed; and i tellyou one thing the person i am related to is NOT a moron.one man said said he had the pictures to prove whose fault it was;and a picture is worth a thousand words.i am just sorry this happened and thank god no one was seriously injured. so please take the time to readall of my comments before you rush to judgement.

I wish people were more responsible and courteous on the rivers and waterways. I live on the River, and when we are out working on our dock or on the boat, boaters see us and still fly by and create large wake. Please be more curteous.

i don't know who you are but you are really needing to know WHO was in Chad's boat so here ya go .. CHAD"S GIRLFRIEND And her COUSIN is that what you wanted is this his OLD girlfriend you know you could have called him instead of here .. But he probably don' return your calls when he is ALWAYS with her .. LOL this is not about WHO was in the boat it is about the accident and if you want to know more about that then fine but you didn't even really want that info as you did not ask about the ones HURT . THIS IS THE NEWS CHANNELL not myspace!!
Ok so I don't know who you are but I have stayed out of this! He may be always with her but he's with me half the time too including right after it happened. I have not said anything because I know what happened and who was on the boat. I knew everyone was ok. We had only been broken up for four days when it happened so I dunno how you can say they are always together. Oh and he does return my calls. I have not started anything so I would appreciate keeping anything about me off of here. Thanks.

PEOPLE NEED TO ACT THEIR AGE AND NOT WORRY ABOUT CHAD AND HIS EX. THEY NEED TO FOCUS ON THE TOPIC WHICH IS THE BOATING ACCIDENT. THANK GOD EVERYONE IS OK. AND JUST FOR THE RECORD IT'S NOT ABOUT WHO KNOWS WHO. IT'S ABOUT FACTS. CHAD IS A VERY RESPECTED GUY IN THE NASSAU COUNTY BECAUSE HE IS VERY EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATED WHEN IT COMES TO MOTOR VECHICLES. I HAVE BEEN IN THE BOAT SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE HAD MY KID'S IN THE BOAT WITH CHAD. HE IS VERY RESPONSIBLE AND I WOULD TRUST MY LIFE AND MY KIDS LIFE IN THE HANDS OF CHAD. HE HAS BEEN RAISED UP RIGHT AND IF HE WAS AT FAULT HE WOULD ADMIT IT. THE RATLIFF'S NEED TO BE THANKFUL THAT CHAD LENDED HIS HAND OUT TO HELP THEM.DON'T BE HATIN CAUSE CHAD IS RESPECTABLE IN THIS TOWN REGARDLESS WHAT'S RIGHT IS RIGHT AND WHAT WRONG IS WRONG. JUST REMEMBER DON'T JUDGE SOMEONE ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM.

Rules of the road prevails in any case safety should be the first concern the more accidents we have on the water will require more restrictions and maybe operator permits Im sure the coast guard is already aware of small boats posing threats to the cruise ships, so all you pleasure boaters take note its coming to a shore near you,
and if the citation doesnt get your attention maybe impounding your boat will.
