Columbus mom's persistence gets son released from "Dead Time"

Donna Powell and her 18 year old son, Michael Sweet are reunited. Sweet has been in the Muscogee County Jail serving "Dead Time" for a year which is when inmates do not receive credit for time served.

I understand how this mother feel. I was lock up in georgia jail for 2 years and was only sentence for one year. therefore i did more than my time and oneone on the outside to help me so good job mom.
