Aint never seen no Will Dockery in here
Does the Majestic have live music?

If so, I'd consider bringing the Shadowville All-Stars in one night and play some blues.

Here's an example of our work, a video from our local music festival Doo-Nanny which gives a pretty good idea of the kind of Folk-Rock Blues we tend to gravitate to, from a recent post I posted to another questioner on a thread located elsewhere:

Yes, I've been creating art, music and poetry for over 30 years... and am quite rightfully proud of my body of work.

Here's one of the hundreds of poem-songs I've created, one of the most recent and a favorite, as it came from the influence and aftermath of the art and music festival Doo-Nanny.

Where I literally left a piece of my heart, and someday hope to reclaim it:

"Over You" written by Will Dockery, Brian Mallard & Jack Snipe. 2012

Over You

"Sitting by the porthole,
you're on my mind.
Hearing the waves crash,
storm outside,
out of sight,
out of time.

Sailing through these memories,
should have seen the signs.
Dragon pulling me back,
three ring circus of reason and rhyme.
Over you, just me getting over you.
Over you, as we see our way through.

You been down to the bottom baby.
Hey, I've been there too.
Once thought those who'd suffered together
could see it all the way through.

But you gave up trying baby,
and I guess I gave up too.
None of the King's Mojo
or all your charms
could hold up this tattered rendezvous.

Over you, just me getting over you.
Over you, as we see our way through.

Sometimes when I had it,
I treated it like dirt.
Overlooked the finer points
of why the whole thing worked.

But you know I don't want sympathy
and neither of us plan to die.
None of us know the answers
and we don't even
want to hear the questions why.

Over you, just me getting over you.
Over you, as we see our way through
...yeah."

Hey, Will. Playing there might not be such a good idea. That place is located on Cusseta Road and I really don't think you or your music would go over very well.

Not to mention the fact that seven people were just shot there the other day!

And Happy New Year, Panther... seems like the first time I've seen you here in 2013.

I was out of town for the holidays. Spent a couple weeks with my eldest in Florida. Seems you got some new people in your group of friends on topix now.

Good to see you, and as you can see, things haven't changed much in these parts...
