Anyone who's read Coral Anika Theill's book Bonshea, www.bonshea.com , already knows the Oregon legal system is backward, incompetent, and apparently biased in favor of abusers. So why should this, yet another miscarriage of justice shock us?

The more I read about Oregon, and the disproportionate amount of domestic violence against women, as well as the unfair judicial system, the more I'm convinced that as beautiful as this state is, that there is something incredibly evil about it.

And the perpetrator in this tragedy was another fake "christian", a wolf in sheep's clothing, hiding behind a religious facade, just like Coral Theill's ex-husband. The world seems to be full of them these days. Only Coral's ex-husband, another apostate so-called "christian" didn't serve time for his crimes. Instead, he used his false "Christian" persona, plenty of money to hire expensive lawyers, lies on top of more lies, and the Oregon court system to further abuse and rape his victim, taking her children away from her. Just as he'd threatened to do if she ever tried to leave him. In any decent court of law, this would never have happened.

This begs the question, why are women in Oregon denied basic human, legal and civil rights in this state? There is something very, very rotten in Oregon. The entire court system needs to be reviewed, and revised from the top to the bottom.

Where is justice in Oregon, where women can not only be protected from abusers, but have a fair, and honest day in court?

I am so thoroughly appalled and sickened when I read stories like this. However, I applaud Maxine Bernstein and the Oregonian for the excellent article and reporting of this tragic event.
