In my opinion this is one of the most corrupt counties anywhere, if you know the right people you can do anything and when a person really needs police who knows if they will show or not and they surely do nothing. And furthermore Jeff Boyd is a piece of human garbage and to think my tax dollars support such a worthless pile of scum is proof that the system is broken, why is he still alive? I bet he gets out of prison again. I can only imagine how a family must feel when they see the scum who took the life of their loved one walking free and showing no remorse. No different than the recent murder in powderly where a teenager was killed by a stepfather who accidentally shot him while cleaning his gun that he didnt know was loaded. It was a revolver...please what happens here isnt as big of a secret as people would like to think its just who you know in combination with a lazy incompetent police force, add that to a county where you and your children have no future unless you want them to grow up and cook dope and I wonder why anyone would choose to stay in this area. anyway I could go on forever on the area and its flaws but its not worth the time I waste saying what everyone already knows.

Sounds like you know him and the area well. You are right on just about all that you said. I am one of the family members of one of his victims. Hopefully the justice system won't fail us again and he (and the others) won't get away with the brutal crime that he/they have been charged with this time.

I've been away from Muhlenberg county for about 6 years now.. and I am so glad. Going back to visit family makes me sick to my stomach (like the person in the comment above). There is no future in that county. No one new moves in so it is the same families, generation after generation. I think it's awesome that I live in a place where I don't know who my next-store neighbor is married to, what his cousin does, where he works, who his grandpa is, etc., etc. I was somewhat sheltered I suppose, becaue I had never even heard of the murder until I read about it on here. So sorry for the family, though. I think I would have moved away from Central City if I were them, but then again I don't know their situation or anything. I'm really rambling on. Basically I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for Corinna's family, and that Muhlenberg County sucks.

HI I AM FROM MUHLENBURG COUNTY. I MOVED TO NASHVILLE 8 YRS AGO WHICH WAS THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. PEOPLE THERE ARE SO IGNORANT. THEY JUST MAKE UP THEIR OWN DAMN LAWS, AND IF YOU ARE A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT THEN EVERYONE ELSE, THEN THEY DO NOT LIKE YOU. IT WAS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. I HAVE TERRIBLE MEMORIES ABOUT THAT PLACE. I GUESS WE ALL SHOULD PRAY FOR THOSE PEOPLE. THERE IS NO JUSTICE THERE. I LEARNED THAT LESSON THE HARD WAY. I WAS NOT AWARE OF ANY MURDER WHICH TOOK PLACE UNTIL NOW. MY GREATEST SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO THE VICTIMS FAMILY.

I'm from Muhlenberg myself, and was smart enough to get myself out off that no good for nothing place. I used to live near Jeff Boyd and I can honestly say he was an extreme a- hole, I could not stand that son of a b. He was a fat sloppy pig, that had a lot of people scared of him, he thought he was a really bad a. And he might say he had nothing to do with the killing all he wanted to but you can quatee if anybody helped in the kill he was involved.

I am from Muhlenberg County, I moved about 6 years ago, I was 31 when I got the hell out of there. I have vowed to NEVER live there again and if it were not for my parents still living there you can bet you would not see me there. I hate that place with passion. Its like a vacuum, once you get sucked in it is hard to get out. I live in Wisconsin now and I don't know very many people here, but after living there and everyone knowing what you are doing every second of the day, being criticized constantly over every part of your life, I don't want to know anyone around me.

i LIVED THERE FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND GRADUATED FROM SOUTH HIGH. I WAS NOT A WHERE OF THIS MURDER, BUT I AM WELL A WHERE OF THE ONE THAT HAPPENED TO SARAH HANSEN WHO WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE AND ALSO THE VINCENT FAMILY IN WHICH I GRADUATED WITH AMY'S BROTHER. THERE IS NO JUSTICE EXACTLLY IF YOU KNOW THE RIGHT PEOPLE YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING INCLUDING MURDER. I DON'T KNOW THE MAN SO I WILL NOT BAD MOUTH HIM, BUT I DO BELIEVE HE SHOULD PAY IF HE HAD ANYHTING TO DO WITH THE MURDER AND I HOPE THAT ONE DAY THE COUNTY CAN BE SOMETHING THAT MY SON WHO IS STILL LIVING THERE WITH HIS FATHER CAN BE PROUD TO SAY HE IS FROM MUHLENBERG COUNTY!!

that is my brother that you are talking about. He has family that loves him too. If you knew him at all you'd know that he is a very loving person. I was never afraid of him. And don't you ever call him a son of a b
that is my mother!

I understand Jeff has family that loves him ,but the truth hurts sometimes. The truth is he is a sick, twisted ,perverted person. And no dout he was played a part of this murder. He bit a womans nibbles off ( I do know that / her ). Sometimes people we love may have a secret live we may not know about ,and dont want to believe . I hope he gets whats coming to him and the rest of ones who played a part in it .GODS punishment is much more great than any mans!

I am from Muhlenberg county i see sarah's father every day. The night sarah was murdered a part of everyone in this county died. She was loves by everyone and liked by people that barley knew her. Woodall should not have evaded exicution in 2002 he should have fried as many others have. what puts him apart from other rapists...nothing nothing at all...why should he not suffer his punishment...he should and thats it no questions asked. he shouldnt get to wake up every morning and say hey i might live another day because sarah doesnt get to do that... an innocent life was takin that night. sarah deserved more she deserves justice. Woodall may have escaped the grim reaper for now but one day his time will come and he will regret everything he did to her. and he will deserve every bit of his punishment. As for Allan Hansen sir i see you everyday you are a great man and deserve to see this man pay for what he did and you will.

So what jeff boyd has a family!!!! so did Corrina and that did not stop him from hurting her! what her child, mother, father, and family?? as a child growing up in muhlenberg we were all scared of him because he was horrible!!!! i am still stuck in muhlenberg county with the hope of things will change one day!! but truth be told it will never change, it's all about who you are and who you know. for jobs and anything else. i pray everyday to get out of this wretched place. your brother is a sick, twisted, rapist, murdering, piece of scuma and you need to pray for the families of the people that he raped, pimped out for drugs, and MURDERED!!!!! there is no justice in this town only favoritism and money talks.

Yes, your all right our county has a name for its self, but i do believe if people such as you who have left and running your mouth, would have stayed and done something to help change, maybe it wouldnt be so bad. I didnt vote for him but Obama is right we all have the power to change. I do agree Boyd, Cramer, and Fields must pay for this terrible crime. May we reclaim our name as proud people of Muhlenberg County.
