What do you think about school board chairman Don Richey's son Ross having all the insurance for the Muhlenberg County School System. What a conflict!!! He should give it up.

Thanks SCOTT!!!
I know where to report conflict of interest. Frankfort will be visiting Muhlenberg County real soon.

Yes you were beaten last November but the voters in the Greenville district now know they made a big mistake. No one approves of a board member siding with another to fulfill an agenda. Thanks to you for being for kids and not adult egos.

His agenda was ALWAYS to get his best friend Randy McCarthy elevated to Superintendent and he made this clear. People elected him to get rid of Dale Todd but never realized he'd spend a half-million tax dollars in getting his buddy promoted. He need a swing vote to get it done so he enlisted Margaret Ann Williams by promising a high level job in the central office for her niece, Jennifer (former CC Mayor Jesse Rodgers Williams daughter). Next stop for Mr. Richey?
He's running for Judge-Executive. Pray to God we don 't elect this self-centered hypocritical crook to anything else!

Yes anyone would have beaten Alan Tucker after the merger. Little did the county know Don would team up with Tartar and Williams to get McCarty in so basically those three could run the schools. Bowers can't think for himself and just goes along with Don. It's about power and ego. I think it's funny how Todd played this board and was paid to leave. A very sweet deal and anyone would have took the money and run. Paid $65k and paid for his 360 sick days. WHOW. Put a pencil to that Muhl Co. Paying the interim plus all those attorney fees, a half million won't touch it. But that's the kind of leadership the citizens voted for so now look what a mess we have. Now Don wants judge. Let's see if the voters are stupid two elections in a row.

His political era in this county is over. His money can only buy so many votes. But when he spends taxpayer dollars on witch hunts and to cover his on motives the public will take notice. He screwed his on people at Bremen by not supporting Rob Davis for superintendent. No one here has any respect for him. Williams did the same by not supporting Sparks so the voters of Central City will go after her as well. I doubt either will run again because they know what the outcome will be. Don too has a past history that everyone talks about. Past students are talking so that hurts his chances of being elected for anything again.

True money talks. But his antics when a teacher is in question and it's being talked out there. Therefore the faith based population will not support him any more for any elected office with these issues.

He'd get few votes in Bremen for his decisions as board member. When you don't support your own (Mr. Davis) don't expect the people down here to support you. People are pretty smart. They can see through his front and can figure out the kind of person he really is. IMO.

Yeah his past is surfacing with his political agenda so I'd say he's done. People are negative everywhere about his actions on the board of education. No one respects elected officials with agendas. He would not support Robbie Davis for superintendent so we here in Bremen have no use for him or his money. This guy is a deacon too.

How about a parent runs? That would be my suggestion. We need PARENTS to run the schools. A good level headed person who knows what is going on and cares about the KIDS and much much less about the MONEY.

I agree. Unfortunately this current board is more concerned about politics than kids. They waste money and make decisions based on what's best for them and their egos. They want to get all their friends in school leadership positions and care little about our kids.

I personally think only parents who have kids in school should be allowed to be a board member. Do you realize that only one of the five board members have a child in school? And Tartar's son graduates this year. I bet his son is given all kinds of scholarships and awards too. Watch and see. Yes we need to change and Richey needs to go first.

Don Richy complained and complained about no school activities on Wed nite or on Sundau afternoons. Then I heard they had a board meeting on Wed nite this week during church time. Can u say double standard? He is such a hypocrite. Guess rules don't apply to him or board.

Not only did he complain he put a stop to it. Not allowing games or practices on wed and Sunday at certain times. He did this to try and appease his church but they all know how he really is. He wants people to think he's nice and holy but people know too much about his past. Agree on the double standard. But he lives his own life with a double standard. Being on school board has brought a lot of attention his way and most of the talk has revealed the kind of person he really is. People eat him up to his face cause he has money but the truth is he is not well liked or respected.

Our wish in Bremen is STILL to have Robby Davis as Superintendent. But that will leave our school with a vacancy. We are tired of "coaches" getting promoted! Not a "New Guy" with ZERO experience. Someone with experience in Leadership and who has the BEST interest of children and is willing to fight for them is ALL we will consider.. We have a beautiful new school and have finally gotten out of the dark ages. Let's get Robby to Central Office so he can keep his eye on things and get MC on the path to recovery!

This board won't put Mr Davis at the office because he knows more than they do and would make them look bad. I love our new school. Thanks Mr Tucker and previous board and administration. Since Don put the screws to our own Mr Davis and seen that his buddy McCarty with 0 experience got the job lets vote Don out. It looks like McCarty is too weak to keep the job so maybe Mr Davis can get there and help the entire district like he has Bremen.

If Tarter's son does win scholarships and awards, it's because he does well in school, not because of his dad. Do not discriminate and downgrade him by saying that it will only be because of his father. You don't know how hard he worked in school or how well he has done. Don't take his achievements away from him and say that they were handed to him.
If yall truly think something is wrong with the school board, then run yourself and correct. Attend meetings, write letters. Slander isn't doing crap. How bout you start acting like the adult you think you all are?

Yeah a lot of politics in schools. Another example is Don's son being Field Commander for the band a few years back. Several were more qualified but everyone knew who would get it.

Yeah Bryson reminds me of that guy on E TV Matthew Rossi. Looks and acts like him too. I don't hear good things about his dad either.
