Yep! I think they should be every Monday! Kids have a test they have to study for each week! Why can't the ones who teach them take a test each week?
I don't let my child go to a family members house because of drugs! I sure don't want my kids going to school in the hands of one!

I agree that drug tests should be given to teachers. It's crazy that this has not already been implemented into the system. But, regarding the alleged incident of a certain teacher supposedly getting caught with drugs at school--its simply not true. This is why you haven't seen it in the papers yet, nor will you. Yes, some events happened one day at the school, but no one was arrested nor were the police involved...no drugs were found. It was a situation that could have been handled much more appropriate. I think the school board should address their behavior and actions to the parents (instead of leaving it to just the rumor mill) and they should apologize for the brutual misreprentation they have caused on this teacher. If I was her, I'm not sure I could ever go back.

I know for a fact they found durgs in her car .And yes search dogs was brought in .This happened during school hours and I'm friends with many of the staff. It will be covered up just like many things in the county. It's seems alittle crazy to give her a break, if she was anyone else she'd be exposed in a heart beat. She is no better than the next person.

Well, unfortunately many people like to talk about things they know nothing about. I too am friends with many of the staff. Yes, you are right, search dogs were brought in--but nothing was found. This is why I'm so upset with the school board. They made such a scene--caused the rumor mill to start up--all the while, nothing was found. There's nothing to "cover up" and no one is asking to give her a break. In my opinion, she hasn't received a break. She has been slandered, humiliated and her reputation as a teacher has been ruined. People are sitting around anxiously awaiting to see her name in the newspaper or court dockets. It's like they can't wait for the moment that she goes down when instead they should be happy to see that there is nothing to this story--no drugs were found. Instead of just accepting that things aren’t what they seem, people have their conspiracy theory ready. I find it sad how people are so quick to judge others.

This is ridiculous. I work at the courthouse and know every detail about what goes on in the county and I can guarantee each and every one of you gossip believers that this teacher was NOT caught with ANYTHING. It's sad that such rumors get started and how you "know for a fact that drugs were found in her car, etc."- that is such BS. NOTHING WAS FOUND, if you don't believe me, this information is on public record- check it out for yourself. As for being covered up, who would cover it up and for what reason? Is she a celebrity or something? There is absolutely nothing to cover up! Don't be so quick to believe rumors in Muhlenberg County (of all places in the world to believe something someone else said). Go for the facts- they are on public record.

so.. has anybody seen the way this "teacher" comes to school dressed? seems that a lot of the boys in her class like the way she looks... the little boys like to look up her skirt when they have to follow her up the steps! I think teachers should have to have the dress code rules that the students have! that way the little boys learn something other than how to look up her skirt! you would think she would have enough respect for herself to dress like a teacher should.

Could someone give more specifics about this to those that are obviously out of the loop? LMNC mentioned Muhlenberg County & if this is happening in our schools, I'd love to know about it. I have a daughter in her last year at an elementary school. Last time I checked, I have the right to know what is going on in her school, but do you think the principal or staff there will tell if it is indeed being covered up? If you don't want to give teachers names, I do understand,,, maybe the school or what end of the county?

Thank you & have a glorious day

There are no specifics to give. It was an elementary school. No drugs were found, no arrests were made, nothing happened, end of story. There is nothing to be covered up, nothing to be announced because nothing happened. There is absolutely nothing going on at this school, that is why you haven't heard anything. It's people like these on this blog that bring stuff up and try to act like there is all of this drama. So yes, you DO have a right to know what's going on in your child's school but in this instance, there is nothing going on so nothing to report to the parents.

well, i happen to be friends with many people who work in the law enforcement in muhlenberg county and i believe that trumps you having friends in the school system. my friends deal with arrests, your friends deal in grade school math and science. she was not caught with any drugs or arrested. you think that there is some sort of cover up? lol. please, do you realize how many people would have to be involved for something like that? i bet you think barrack obama is a muslim terrorist too. there are too many stupid people breeding in muhlenberg county.

What teacher was it? Just curious. I don't want to add to the gossip, but if she's innocent, who was it?

If they drug tested every teacher, how many teachers would actually pass??

My theory on why it is not mandatory.

Well, guys - the first thing that you have to realize is - THIS IS MUHLENBERG COUNTY...End of story. That should tell it all. The fact of the matter is that no one knows positively except the police & the teacher. No friends of this one or that one, not even the courthouse workers. We all know how things work around here & it's not a true "justice system" - that's a joke.

As far as the drugs go, teachers should have to take a random drug test just like everyone else. So should all the people on checks & welfare for that matter. But you can rest assured IF your last name isn't Todd, someone kin, someone screwin' him or someone he'd like to screw, you don't have money or you dress where he can see up your skirt - you're not even a stain on the shirt of the board. They will out you & throw you to the dogs. I've seen several good teachers get shoved out even after they were proven innocent. I've seen others stay after being treated for drug abuse.

This is the good ole county of "Who You Know & Who You Blow."

She is currently on personal leave (granted by her principal), will return after fall break. I heard nothing about her car being impounded, I don't believe that it was. I just spoke with her ex-husband and he said that he never told anyone that she was found with loratabs and a baggie with resin in it (he reiterated that she wasn't found with anything). He was pissed someone would use his name like that to lie.
I'm tired of talking with you all about this. I know that the pointless blog will go on without me- have fun kicking this dead horse.

Yes Mr. Creager did say that. So did his mother and his dad. LMNC is full of it. I've been friends with Nace and April both since high school and I dont think for a second that LMNC knows either of them or you'd know the situation alittle better than you do. Its funny when people log on here and find people they know and then try and lie to defend them. I know for a fact what happened. And everyone else is right, its all about who you know around here.

What in the world makes you think an EX husband wouldn't lie? Also, how were you friends with both of them in high school...they're like 10 yrs apart. From your tone, it sounds like you were/are friends with him--so I doubt you have "your facts" straight.
