This is another incident where the Mayor of Parsippany did an incompetent job. He should have stepped in and stopped this waste of money. Now it is too late and us taxpayers have to foot the bill with higher taxes. I am glad that Mayor Luther was defeated in the November election. I hope the next Mayor gets rid of all this waste in tax dollars and keeps a tighter reign on those people working under him, as well as keeping this town clean and neat.

It appears to me that Luther or one of his close advisors may have proposed the whole idea to give the expensive insurance contract to the Morris County Joint Insurance Fund and his puppets on the council approved it. You see, their lawyer/cronies get all the big-money legal contracts from the MCJIF. This wouldn't happen if they went with the much cheaper Travelers' policy.
I suspect the US Attorney's office has been watching this (you can pick up the phone and call the US Attorney's people to tell them).
I wonder if there may be sealed indictments waiting to be opened? The "feds" are not finished with Parsippany.
