3 Missing in Montmorency County

I heard that they found the four-wheeler in Alpena and thought that the three individuals were possibly at some apartments near by.

They found the kids early afternoon in Alpena and they are currently with their parents.

Worried parents and concerned law enforcement personnel were relieved Saturday, when three missing youths from Montmorency County were found alive and doing well.

The three youths, ages 11, 13 and 19 were reported missing shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, from the Barnes Trail area near Atlanta. They were found at about 4 p.m. Saturday, in Alpena.

Montmorency County Sheriff Deputies did not release details of what may have led the youths astray.

Police and fire officials from Hillman, Albert Township, and Alpena searched for the missing youths.
