Dayton-area sheriff to lay off 15 to save funding
A southwestern Ohio sheriff is laying off 15 people and eliminating three open jobs as his county faces an estimated $7.6 million budget shortfall.

I Think the officers on the street ae more valuable than the army of political positions normally found at the clerk of courts section.I can remember paying a ticket where there were only 3 employees at the clerk of courts.Now notwithstanding that computers do all the work,there are 20 to 30 employees standing around the water coolers in some juristictions,diong less work.
