Welfare drains EVERYTHING.

Bottom line is that if more people actually married for life,KEPT their marital commitments, and raised the children as they are supposed to themselves; we wouldn't NEED all this welfare. It was originally designed to temporarily help those in need and has devolved into it's present form. Now it's a license for irresponsibility and many people are sick of paying for it.

I think it's pretty hypocritical that LAWMAKERS can get away with tax evasion if they so choose. But we poor schmucks who have to pay the taxes and keep our traps shut suffer. I'd love it if taxes were broken down into specific catagories and people could choose which taxes they want to support. The excuse I've heard is o.k; then people will pay for nothing because that's their choice.

Perhaps it is naive' of me to think that people actually have some brains and would pool their monies when a certain service becomes necessary.

We were once told that our taxes paid for public education of our children, emergency services like fire and police. Since then MUCH has been added. It's become a free for all literally.

What I think we need is a tax revolt.

(con't) You want government health care? YOU pay for it. You want public education? YOU pay for it.(don't even go there with me) You want to support political lobbiests and activists? YOU pay for it.
You want a "green world"? YOU pay for it.

I'd advise everyone to not simply pay their bills, but LOOK at how much they're paying and what the money goes for. For example: I'll pay for the service I receive when it comes to my electricity or gas, etc. But don't ASK me to pay a tax that goes to some "green" idea. I'd love it if I paid for the service directly and ONLY that. But then they'd probably see that I didn't pay all, sully my credit rating, and cut off my service. Wonder what would happen if ALL people did that.

Doesn't it just BITE when you have to pay for something you never asked for and don't WANT?

Welfare is now generational and many kids are being raised on the street.
The welfare name should be changed to workfare and able bodied people should be required to do some type work.

All it is designed to do is keep people dependent on democrats and buy their votes.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Libra

Going shopping today? Then don't be surprised if you splash out on items that are that little bit different from your usual purchases. For instance, if you set off for the supermarket you might end up buying lots of exotic ingredients so you can experiment with them. This is unlikely to get out of hand unless you're feeling bored or fed up, in which case you'll want to spend your way out of your current mood.
