Thank you Lord for helping this man find the body, so his family can take him to his final resting place. Thoughts and prayers to all the family.

RIP. I am wondering, did this man have any mental conditions? Was someone supposed to be "watching" him"

In any case, at least now there can be closure for the family.

So the man who saw him wander off was the man who found the body, did I read that incorrectly?

84 yrs old and tracking devices exist that should be used on all elderly and those with dementia to prevent such sad outcomes.
But rural poor families can't afford such luxuries and state aid does not exist to help buy them.

yes the last person that saw him alive found him. He was located 1 1/2 miles of the road nobody would ever imagined he would walk that far away from a resident at that age and the weather we had at the time. The guy that found him was out hunting deer antlers. no foul play is expected there was no trauma to the body he just got lost.My fire dept and personnel did the best that we could. Our prayers are with the family.

Some of the same people who posted comments on the story about the deceased 6 year old posted on here yet oh how different the comments.
It is a shameful society who can pity the loss of a 6 year old but cannot pity the loss of an elderly person. No matter the age, they were both HUMAN!
You know who you are and perhaps you should re-evaluate your position in life because you could be, at some point, in the same condition this gentleman was. ELDERLY!
May my God grant you peace!

The same hunter who saw him "last" is the one who found him?

"A hunter who saw Stanley walking off Baker Road on the day he was reported missing found the body in nearby woods, 10TV News reported."

Why weren't these woods searched then?

Something isn't right.
