You should be able to fire or let go anyone you want for any reason. I know in my business I wont hire religous people and if do by mistake will fire them. I dont trust religous people so dont want them. Should be my right to do so.
I have a whole new respect for you now, even though we still disagree on other things.

Marriage is between two people of the opposite sex that are allowed to marry if they meet a few other requirements also. As long as you meet the requirements no problem
Let's hope those requirements are love and commitment.

Probably the same thing same sex folks believe in.

<quoted text>Whether you used the word marriage is irrelevant.

Same-sex couples can't have the same rights as married opposite-sex couples unless they can first get married.

Anything less than marriage isn't equal to marriage.

I don't know how much simpler I can make for you.
Yes we know it is not about benefits it is about perverting the word marriage

Gays could have had equal rights more than ten years ago but instead they chose to try and change the meaning of a word..........ROTFLMAO

Without marriage it's impossible to have equal marriage rights.

Btw, where is the anti-gay sponsored legislation from more than a decade ago establishing nationwide civil unions with all the rights & benefits of marriage?

Oh that's right, there never was any, because the anti-gays have always opposed ANY recognition of our unions whatsoever.

The ONLY reason you losers are trying to offer up civil unions as some sort of consolation prize now is because you all finally see the handwriting on the wall. You know marriage equality is inevitable.

Why would I ever give up my marriage for a civil union? Especially now that we're about to have federal recognition in 4 months.

As long as hetero marriage continues to decline, the foundation of homosexual marriage is shaky. If the economy ever collapses, there will be violence and death and exterminations. Just like history always does. We are the most violent nation in the world and yet we keep sugar coating it with our false currency. Men who have very little are fertile ground for nastiness.

Only you and your fellow anti-gay bigots will be suprised when DOMA is overturned.

Just as you were suprised when marriage equality passed in Maine & Washington & Maryland after you all kept insisting the people would NEVER vote more marriage equality.

Remember that?!

And notice how suddenly your fellow anti-gays are trying to STOP marriage equality from going to a vote of the people now that it's obvious we CAN win a popular vote? They tried to find an activist judge in Ohio to stop the people from voting, but the judge turned them down; the people get to vote in 2014. They're trying to sue in Oregon to prevent a vote by the people in 2014 as well.

Suprise!

If it's not called marriage, then it's not equal.
