That's just our way of pointing out that HETERO marriage is awful (just ask any married straight guy), while our marriages are fabulous by comparison!
We want the legal protections which only marriage can provide; the benefits are just icing on the wedding cake.
Bullshit.

So you expect us to believe that a gay couple, who can't even figure out what gender they are, somehow have a better grasp on successful marriages.

You people just want to rock the boat and cause trouble, and you know that liberals allow your form of perversion because they're just as "troubled" as you are.

Once again, you don't know what you're talkig about. Why are you threatened by same sex marriage? Are you that insecure in your manhood/relationship/marriage, that you think same sex marriage somehow lessens and Union that you have, or may have?

Voter registration is public info, a quick Google search will bring that up in a few seconds.
I've had the privilege to vote in eight Presidential elections now, but I never witnessed as much argumentative debate or day-after election day gloating as I witnessed duing this last election...and I went through the 2000 Bush victory with an office full of Bush voters who knew I voted for Gore. There was no gloating, no verbal jabs, no rubbing my face in it. In this last election, there were workers I thought were going to come to blows.
Since no one bothers with those old societal proprierties any more (don't discuss religion or politics), there's a very good chance that the employer did nothing illegal to find out how she voted. There's also a good chance that she would have been laid off no matter who she voted for. Maybe we should hear the evidence before we convict the employer.

These damn liberals do anything to get out of working for a living.
They lie, cheat, and fabricate stories.

Another case:
A useless black DMV employee reportedly said was shocked to the point of obtaining therapy after overhearing a co-worker's remark:
"Moochelle Obama is a big fat cow".

She tried to sue the person.
She was told,
".... an independent AND objective observation is no ground for a lawsuit".

Second it was never brought to a ballot then
How do you support something that does not exist???
We supported civil unions before they ever existed, just as we now support marriage where it doesn't exist.

Did you lobby your elected representatives to support a civil unions bill in your state and at the federal level?

Did you talk to your friends, family, neighbors, & co-workers to support an initiative or referendum or constitutional amendment to support civil unions?

THAT is how you support something which doesn't yet exist.

And yet my marriage has lasted for over 26 years, while my all my hetero siblings and cousins are divorced and on the 2nd or 3rd marriages. Every hetero neighbor I know is divorced or remarried as well. The overwhelming majority of the heteros I ever worked with were divorced or remarried.

Hmmmm, seems I DO have a better grasp of what it takes to make a successful marriage.

"Gays" already have the same rights as non-"Gays".

If fact they get "special" privileges and protections.

I see you dont comprehend what you read well.........

Yes after the attack on marriage was well under way..........LOL

Now if in the late 90s as I had said if the gay community did not try and pervert the word marriage they would have gotten the CU.......

Let me explain something else on the same subject.......

A few years ago Gay wedding were allowed here in Vallarta.......

As soon as that happened tons of disgusting gay bars opened with graphic pictures and graphic names.....

Soon gays were invading beaches wearing speedos or even less. It was common to see two men walking down the street with their hands in each others crotch.....

The Mardi Gras parade started ......

Open sex all over old town......

Normal people said enough was enough.......

No more Mardi Gras parade
No more graphic signs
No more speedoes on gay beaches
No more gay marriage
No more kissing in public but they only enforce gays
Crack down on drug use
Gay clubs would be raided night after night and closed for one reason or the other..

And the same thing happened with the attack on gay marriage that started in the late 90s and now you cant even get a CU..........

If that were true, then my legal marriage would be recognized by the federal govt and all 50 states; it's not, so I don't have the same rights.

But that's okay, soon enough the SCOTUS will correct that situation starting with federal recognition in Jun.

You asked when Civil Unions were ever on the ballot; I answered. I can't help that you don't like the answer.

Anyone can still get a civil union in 5 states, plus a domestic partnership in another 3 states. But since I'm married I don't need a civil union.

And after the SCOTUS overturns DOMA in Jun, my marriage will be recognized by the federal govt as well.

Why would I want a civil union now?

Maybe if you all hadn't been so hateful & vindictive all those years you wouldn't be stuck dealing with same-sex couples getting married.
Stop labling me and trying to fit me into some box, dip-sh!t. You must be aware, by now anyway, that your Alinsky tactics have been caught on to and they're going to blow up in your face.
