That would be Thomas Rich - he will be missed by his friends, wife, children and colleagues.

I recently heard that an old friend of mine passed away in a traffic accident in California. This "Tom Rich" could be him. Does anyone know if this particular "Tom" was a former US Marine Officer and was originally from Brockport, NY? Thank you.

Tom was my manager for a company called Coherent in Palo Alto. Tom was in my mind one of the nicest guys I have met. He was very smart, would listen to your concerns and during the Holidays before we left for the week he would have a beautiful lunch ( he paid for everything) for everybody in our department, honey baked ham, roast beef, cheese cake ect... When you walked in to the room were we had the lunch he would hand everybody a box of see's candy. Not only was he my boss but a wonderful friend.

That sounds like the "Tom" I know. He and I grew up as kids together. While we never served together, we both in the Marine Corps at the same time. He was a great guy and I'll miss not being able to catch up with in our "golden years". Semper Fi my friend.
