Just learned today that Judge Ross charged a Monroe County resident in court on false charges for yet another false charge of having a recording device in the court room. The Judge apparently referred to a writing pen as a "recording device" and asked the defendant if the pen was not a recording device. The defendant responded with the correct answer of "No, it is not a recording device, it is a pen".

Then the Judge charged the defendant with a contempt of court charge since the pen is a recording device. Let me explain, a pen is used for writing and writing was considered "recording" by the Judge. This little dark and corrupt game was done in order to place this defendant in jail in order to sabotage his showing up prepared and presentable for his hearing on false charges a few days later. Sure enough, Judge Ross the rushes the defendant to Judgement with what appeared to be a rigges jury and no defense council for the defendant who is indigent (no money).

Interestingly, when I telephoned the jail on Wednesday to check up on whether or not this defendant was in fact in jail, the person at the jail told me that the defendant was charged with contempt of court for having a "tape recorder" in the courtroom. Wrong! This was a lie. All the defendant had was a simple pen that Judge Ross used to play the game of calling it a recording device since it could be used for writing and writing was considered "recording". So why was I told twice by two different people at the MCSD and jail that the defendant had a "tape recorder" when he clearly did not!

Now, this is not the first story of this kind of courtroom corruption that I have heard about coming out of this county from this Judge. Who is this guy anyway? We are woking on getting the stories of the Judges courtroom corruption to the national media. I personally am sending it to my contact at ABC News in NYC.

Judge Carroll, if you want to be respected as a Judge, then act like one. Not some thug on the street! The real character of a man can be easily assessed by how he utilizes any "power" that he has over another. Your record, Mr. Judge, clearly defines your character. If you don't mind acting like that, than you shouldn't mind my identifying it and articulating it to the local citizens who pay your high salary and benefits with their tax payer dollars. Where is the shame? Start respecting the law and the U.S. Constitution or you may find yourself sitting in jail one day yourself with charges of judicial corruption, among other things. Who do you think you are? You are not above the law! We have boots on the ground in foreign lands to defend our freedom here at home. Our soldiers for over 200 years have fought for our freedoms which are clearly defined in our U.S. Constitution. Many men have died for your freedom. And what do you do, you play these kinds of corrupt games in the people's court. That is not your courtroom, that is the people's courtroom! When I saw the post from "No on is above the law" from Johnson City, TN I thought finally a local has taken notice.

Johnson City was one of the communities I was looking at when I was making a decision to change residence. For more that a year now I have been following the corruption in TN. I even asked some of the Real Estate Cos if they knew what was occuring. I finally had to tell myself there was no way I could put up with the reports of corruption in the legal system and law enforcement community in TN.

After letters I personally wrote to your Governor and federal representatives went unanswered I knew I had made the right decision.

The people of TN need to find out about all of these instances as factually reported. I say factually because every effort has been made to get rebuttal from everyone in the local law/judiciary to the State TBI, office of the Governor, AG, and numerous elected officials to the FBI but no response has been forthcoming.

Some very brave souls died for your freedom and it seems most of you are willing to overlook their sacrifice.

Thank you for your input on this subject. I am also from California (L.A.), and we moved here several years ago. Oh how I wished we were as wise as you to do our research before moving here. We thought this would be a great place to be as we approached our retirement years. Wrong!!It is the most corrupt place I have ever seen in my entire life. And no, the corruption is not reserved just for the indigent. You are a target, even if you have money. And in some cases, especially if you have money and not one of the good-ole-boys!

Now I could go into a lot of detail about our own experience of the rampant fraud and corruption committed upon the people in this state that is done with no fear of accountability because the state regulatory boards, politicians, and other good-ole-boys appear to do nothing about any of it. They all seem to be in bed together, and in many cases, profiting from a lot of the corruption, including drug trafficking while they pretend to be doing something about it, when the really are not! Instead they arrest petty drug users and accuse them of being major drug traffickers to make it look as if they are doing their job, while they allow the major drug traffickers to remain on the street. You are right about trying to get some help form the government agencies you mentioned. They just blow everybody off that ask for the corruption to be dealt with. I am not surprised to hear that your letters were ignored as well. It was smart of you to take that as a good indication not to move here. You are very wise indeed!

We feel so hopeless (and scared) about living here, that we are now packing up and and getting out of this corrupt state. Many people, however, are not able to do this.

Please, my fellow California.... help the good people of the State of Tennessee, and there are many good people here. Please join us in contacting the National media about the rampant corruption in Tennessee. Maybe then the state government here will do something. I also have become grossly aware of the corruption in Tennessee, in particular the most recent atrocity perpetrated by Judge (I cringe using that title for this piece of scum) Carroll Ross. There's another corrupt judicial harassment tactic I have learned that this corrupt system in Monroe County employs upon their manufactured defendants. It may happen to this most recent victim from last week that had only a simple ink pen in the courtroom, but was found in contempt of court for having a recording device (the simple pen). Remember, Judge Ross considers "writing"... "recording" and therefore the simply pen belonging to this defendant was labeled a "recording device" since the defendant cour write with it. So off to jail he went for contempt of court for having a recording device in the courtroom. If this corrupt tactic was not so illegal, it would be side-splitting!

As previously noted, the Judge appeared to do this in order to victimized this defendant even more. The defendant had a "rush to judgement" trial in two days that he needed to finish preparing for since he had been denied defense counsel by the Judge. This rigged trial was in response to other false charges placed on this poor man by these corrupt county officials. Putting him in jail on some false contempt of court charge was intended to sabotage his ability to show up in the courtroom two days later prepared for his trial because he had been in jail on the false contempt of court charge.

After rushing this defendant to trial on false charges with no legal representation, he has been told that he will be put on probation. I understand this county has been known to continue their judicial harassment by putting defendant's on probation so they can falsely accuse the defendant of false parole violations.

With these corrupt and illegal tactics, a defendant's legal battles mount up, making the defendant's life a mess and creating a record to ruin their reputation for the purpose of discrediting them. This county also reports all these knowingly false charges and the aftermath of these false charges to the local press.

Monroe County corrupt government officials, enough of this! We are advocating for innocent defendants of Monroe County, and we have our eyes and ears on all of you as long as you continue to conduct yourself's in this corrupt and illegal manner. This is not what our police forces and courts are suppose to be about. This is the people's court, not your evil and corrupt playground.

Now, if this defendant is put on probation and false probation violations are manufactured (as you manufactured that "recording device" fiasco)... please know that we are going to be asking the FBI, the TBI, the Governor, the TN and U.S. Attorney General's office what is it about Bill Bivens, Judge Ross, Martha Cook and others there that scares these state government officials from holding you all accountability for the illegal behavior coming out of your court and Sheriff's Department in Monroe County.

When reading these articles about the corrupt judicial harassment that takes place in this county, and I sure it will not be consistent with the lies that are told to the local press. Now, from what I understand, corrupt cops don't do their own murders unless they have to. In that instance, they use their corrupt county courts and good-ole-boys to cover it all up. From what I hear, the very poor conditions of the Monroe County jail are worst than hell! And since I am going to heaven when I die, I prefer that over the Monroe County jail. Especially since a trial in Monroe County about a woman defending herself from a hit from you, would find me to be a murderer, instead of the situation being accurately assessed as an incident of “self defense”. Which was the case in the Jim Ellington trial!

If any, than perhaps this is all for profit because we know that very little of that money is being used to properly take care of these men and women.

Now, from what I understand several of the people responsible for this deplorable and ungodly behavior attend The Lighthouse Christian Church. Perhaps someone needs to get this information to the pastor there so he can counsel the sinners in his church to turn from these evil ways. After all, the bible that they use in this church states that the Word is to be used for teaching and rebuking. And I believe that some appropriate Christian rebuking is in order…. True, but it was definitely not a pen that was a recording device. It was a simple pen given to this Christian Missionary as a birthday present. I know this for a fact! So there you go.

Secondly, there were people allowed with tape recorders in this courtroom on numerous occasions, including this day. Funny, the Judge turned of his microphone numerous times so that what he was saying to the defendant could not be heard. Clearly, the Judge did not want what he was saying to be heard for obvious reasons.

If you are a legitimate poster from California that really thinks that these posts involve some criminal from Washington state that you are respectfully incorrect.

First, I would have to wonder why a poster in Calabasas is on a Monroe County, TN forum. I find that a little unlikely, but my apologies if I am wrong.

It is more believable for me to assume that you are one of the corrupt official in Monroe County seeking to do damage control by "changing the subject" and seeking to "discredit" what is being discussed here on this TN forum. Cops in TN can and do conduct damage control by changing their real locations and posting comments to change the subject and discredit people speaking out against their corruption. They do it all the time and it is one of their "smoking guns" of self-imposed guilt.

Now, if you really are a poster from Calabasas, California who really does think there is a Wally from Wasington state on this forum, then please let me assure you it is not me. I use to live in in the San Fernando Valley where you "appear" to be posting from. I am also a licensed private investigator in California, and use to work at Warner Center there of Erwin and Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Woodland Hills. Calabasas is a very fine upscale community where I doubt any thugs live like those in Monroe County. I find it hard to believe that a high income earning individual from affluent Calabasas would be posting on a Monroe County, TN forum this Sunday morning. But, if I am wrong, then please confirm that you really are from Calabasas by telling me what well known restaurant there has outdoor seating with a very large dinner room and bar. It is frequented by visitors from the Harley Davidson group from over there in Chatsworth from time to time. You see their Harley bikes parked out there every weekend during lunch and dinner hours. Any local would know the name of this popular restaurant. I know, because I use to live in Chatsworth..., up there off of Valley Circle, and several of those bikers lived not far from our immediate neighborhood.

Now, if you cannot answer this question then I assume you are from Monroe County, TN changing your location and making obtuse statements about some Wally criminal from Washington state in order to discredit me and/or change the subject. That is what corrupt TN officials do.

If this is, in fact, what you are doing, well there is another smoking gun in the cover-up. These corrupt official down here in Tennessee will type anything to cover-up what they do. This tactic is obviously additional evidence of their guilt.

I will await your answer to my question about the name of the Calabasas Restaurant. Then, if you know where it is at, how about meeting me there on Tuesday at noon so I can show you some of the evidence I personally have of the corruption in TN. I will be flying to LAX tomorrow to meet with some folks over on Lacienga Blvd. in Los Angleles to discuss this corruption in TN. Please confirm that you will be able to meet me and I will be there.
