Bartley sentenced in Monroe Co. vote-buying case
A Monroe County man who pleaded guilty in a vote fraud case was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court in Owensboro.

BartleyGary M. Bartley, 53, of Tompkinsville, was sentenced to six months probation on home confinement, meaning he is allowed to serve out his sentence at his home. He was also ordered to pay a $2,000 fine for conspiring with other defendants in the case to pay and offer to pay voters for voting in the 2006 November general election, according to Stephanie Collins, spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Louisville.
