I understand the posters are up to remind everyone that Lauren is missing. The city of Bloomington and IU are doing a great job keeping her memory alive. Also, IU know that it is inportant in order to keep students on the campus and future students to attend.
The fact is, this would have already shoved under the rug if it was in a very small town. I feel bad for Lauren's family, but with them in town and asking for help keeps people looking and the poster up all over the place. I am thinking after winter sets in and the poters get wet and drop to the ground who is going to clean up the litter. I am sure it will not be the people that hung the hundreds of posters.
Lauren made a bad choice and put herself in this situation. To see her in t.v. from video, she was drunk with her friend. I would want to start to talk to the IU stuents about bad choices as a reminder as well. The message is out with , but reminders are very important since IU is a known party school. Also, the family should help find a way that under age students can not get in a bar and drink. Have they plastered the inside wall, front door, and window. at Kilroys?
I really hope Lauren is found and her family can find peace. But please, not too many posters. The message is out!

Follow up about Kilroys. Has the family plastered Kilroys with posters where Lauren was underage and drinking? Oh yeah, what about other bars and places that sell booze that goes to the campus parties and off campus students under age.
