Pepcorn case moves to District Court, charges added

Newly-filed lewd conduct and sexual abuse charges against James Pepcorn have advanced to District Court, as Minidoka County Magistrate Judge Rick Bollar found sufficient evidence existed to prosecute the case. via South Idaho Press

How about that 1 Rape 3 Lewed Conduct and 1 Sexual Abuse of a child. Not to mention the 20+ victims that are outside the statue of limitations. Jim Pepcorn is a monster way past feeling that feeds on the handicaps of others. Beware mini-cassia this man is still out there stalking your children feeding upon their innocence.

The family is kinda weird. Seems like the daughters do not have interactions with people outside of that inner circle. I have always been told that when they children do not have any firends outside of the "inner circle" that they to have been abused. Could it be? They seem to be so strange. I wonder have they been molested by him too that makes them seem so weird??

There is no 20+ victims, man talk about lies! He was a school teacher and the lawyers trying to work up a case against Jim went public so "other" victims could come forward and guess what.....not one, big surprise! These are false allegations made by his in-laws and you know what they don't even have the courage to post under their own name, don't believe a word on here, or make sure you check your sources before you believe anything! Jim is a good man and he should sue for defamation of character! Jm and his family should have our sympathy for these people taking advantage of the legal system....is this the type of thin we should be paying for as tax payers, some jeolous in-law trying to cock up some lie that can't be proven, the witness won't even take a lie detector test and Jim did and passed!

Wow Cassie! You go Girl. Sounds like the DA is barking up the wrong tree. So why should we believe you? Maybe you are posting under someone else's name and well just maybe you are one of the family. Just don't know do we. I think jealousy is a little far fetched. I'm sure Cannon can see past that. Seems to me that he has a conviction for every sex abuse case he has brought to a judge and jury the last few years. Prosecutors like to win and I don't think he would have gone so far with so little. As far as passing a lie detector test, I seriously doubt that ever happened, but even if he did, how do you know the victim/victims haven't passed to and are waiting till the last minute to hand it over to the DA. You see you just don't know -do you? We do know that four judges believe the victims stories enough to have a trial that is for sure. And don't forget that Jimmy is wearing an ankle bracelet and had to post bond and that was approved by the Chief District Judge-Judge Wood. You see Cassie I don't think this is a game the victim/s are playing. I think we have every reason to believe they are telling the truth or we would be blogging about something else. I'm the real thing, you others who still haven't posted under your own name can only post more lies and more lies, raise any question you have-He's innocent and even you know the truth. Yep, he's posted bail and is wearing an ankle thing- that doesn't make him guilty he is dealing with every problem that was forced his way from his own relatives (by marriage). Allegations and charges against him that everybody whom has had the wonderful opportunity of knowing Jim knows these charges are completely false. The victm can't even stick to the same story, where did it happen- why does she have to change her story, I hope she took a lie detector test! Jim did and passed may I remind you! You better believe that they'd go this far on a case, anything involving sex gets people's attention and the fact that it has been so long since the so-called incident happened there isn't really any evidence required. All this is really a waste of time, like I said I grew up with the man and he is not a sexual predator. He is the last person that should be wearing a ankle bracelet. I was around him at all stages of my girlhood and he would never do anything that the allegations suggest. Personally, I am glad that there is a new attorney. So that when there is a conviction there will be nothing to appeal especially the “ineffective counsel” appeal. Nothing against Mr. Nelson, I just don’t think he thought it would go to trial. And I don’t think he was prepared for the sheer number of victims that have come forward and have testified to being sexually abused by Jim Pepcorn. Three generations of children –shame on him!
