Theres an interesting website everyone needs to go on to read some comments being said about the Senator. These stories are supposedly being picked up by some national publications. The website is www.wvablue.com . Go there, read the stories and see some other peoples opinion of the Senator besides just those from Mingo County. Sounds like to me he's loosing ground pretty fast...

Does not everyone know that Hootie is controlled by Judge Thornsbury? Thornsbury wants to be the political kingmaker in Mingo County and will do what is necessary to try and make it so. Dave Baisden is also under Thornsbury's thumb. If Dave Baisden runs for Sheriff and wins, he will be in a federal prison within a year for some of his illegal stuff. I hear that Dave Farley will be retiring from the railroad police and will be running for Sheriff. He will beat Dave Baisden.

Truman suggested the other day that we hold up the vote on health care reform until he gets what he wants on coal. This man would hold up health care to millioms in this country because the Obama administration won't satisfy his petty whims. I'm not that crazy about Hootie, but if the people of this county never do anything else, they need to remove this pin head from office.

Obama was against the war during the election, he got all the votes of the troops that are overseas families. Now he's won he wants to send 40,000 more troops over. If we did'nt have people like Truman to protect our livlihoods what would coal mining counties and states do. If our coal miners jobs aren't protected where are the taxes going to come from to keep these government checks coming in. Also what about the stimulus that was overpaid you see where it going to get paid back. If our jobs aren't protected how much longer do you think all monthly checks, let alone the money to pay for the health care reform, where will all this money come from. Because each time one coalminer is laid off eleven more jobs are affected. When all these jobs are gone could you imagine how many more people would be on state aid. What then, So before you bash Truman remember he's on our side.

Truman is on Truman's side. For him to suggest this type of skull-duggery is an insult to the people of this county and State. He wouldn't say it himself, he got another member of the Legislature to do it so he could practice C.Y.A. And as far as statistics, for every strip miner 30 underground miners lose their jobs, and probably 300 support jobs are lost. I remember when Truman beat a Federal wire tapping charge by the skin of his teeth, he's lucky he's not in jail right now.

There are several of us concerned citizens in the Williamson, WV area that are asking the question. Why would a man with the stature of Mr Chafin Represent a convicted Drug Criminal. Also; a man accused of Stealing $240,000.00 worth of equipment from a local business in the area. Of which the accused signed a confession as of the theft. Would this be pressure from some type of dirt that the represented (Mark D. Stanley) has on Chafin & Maynard. Some of which was suggested a drug connection that Mr. Stanley had a large drug connection with Mr Elliot E.(Spike) Maynard. Whom allegedly is paying for representation for this convicted criminal. Is this what our state representatives are for? To destroy local businesses To try to help get a 8 count indicted felon off scott free. This may be of interest to the first news station that researches the story and gets it out to the public.
