No company should try to influence their employees regarding how their vote is cast. It is positively outrageous when this happens. Our most precious right as American citizens is our right to cast our vote - not only to cast it but to make OUR OWN decision as to who we vote for and in a private fashion. Anything else violates our Constitutional right and makes a mockery of American freedom.
I have both read about and seen on television news comments regarding Rite-Hite sending a missive to their employees encouraging them as to how to vote. I personally believe this action is deserving of an investigation.
