you would have to follow the newspaper from when this happen oct. 28 2009. they were divorced but were still family they have 2 boys together now about 30 and 23.they had leaved in midland and so did his mom and dad which i also worked with his father very nice good people.he got hurt very bad at work one day they took him out of grand blanc metal fab ( the old tank plant ) on a streacher he never came back. we were told he hurt his back very bad so have not seen him in over 20 years but i dont believe they are painting the right picture of him they are acting like he did this on purpose a deer ran out in front of them he swerved probaly over swerved and hit a rail road crossing sign which im gona assume hit kellys side of the car she was hurt and they had her on the ground working on her. when they ask lewis if they could do a blood test because they say he seemed confused he told them he was on meds the doctor percript they did breath alizer no booze not drunk they i think then took them both to the hospital after takeing his blood.they waited 3 months before arresting him but the test showed he was not drunk his meds were to a t they way they were percripted and they said he had a tiny tiney micro of pot showed up but the expert said for that small of a amont it had to be 2nd hand inhaled not somoked. so they really just have a terriable tragdey here for his ex-wife and her family and for him and his family and there boys it was a a
ACCIDENT sad sad thing now they want him to go to prison for the rest of his life.

what grounds are they saying? did he have a lawyer for crying out loud? Sounds awful but it sure can go down like that. what do his kids say?

at first his family did not think he would need a real good lawyer because of everything i stated before and because he was disabled he had a court appointed attory that never once came to see him after he was arrested the trail date was one day away and still no lawyer came to see him. so his boys and family hired mr. gower a lawyer out of bay city you should really read all newspapers all this is right there to read i cant understand it i do no that if you are in jail your disabilty stops which would mean he only gets a small pension check per month and no insurance so i would guess by now he is loseing every thing he worked for his whole life.

i don't know but i wouldn't think the disability stops. is he still in jail? what's his lawyer say?
i wish i could come up with a good idea, but i just stopped in this forum to see what was going on.
wishing you and them all the best
