I find it wonderful that all the counties in NJ have great information except for Middlesex County. Since we are new to Parlin and have looked all over for information about where the flood zones are in the area. I'm guessing we are not in a flood zone but it would be helpful that a map of the flood zones be readily available.

I want to tell whoever in the County Emergency Services that they are not helping anyone one by posting "If you live in know flood areas get out." If you never lived here before are visiting then you probably are not privileged to the information about known flood areas.

We have a couple of quarters for you to buy a clue. Please answer the basic questions with the standard - Who, What, When, WHERE and Why -

This is what we know:

Who - People living in known flood areas.
What - Hurricane Irene and storm surge
When - Starting this afternoon.
Why - Because flood zones are not safe.

Emergancy information management 101 get the best information to the people. That's like answering a question with "you know what I mean?" NO - I don't or I wouldn't have asked the question.
