Prosecutor's Office: Off-Duty Cop Shot Suspect Who Took Hostage at Woodbridge Center Mall

A shoplifter who took a woman hostage at the Woodbridge Center shopping mall in Woodbridge Township Thursday afternoon was shot and killed by an off-duty Woodbridge police officer, according to a press release issued by the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.

He got what he deserved. I shop in that mall and would hate to think about being taken hostage by a shoplifter with a knife.
