It is important to remember that what has been disclosed in this (and other) articles are accusations. Everyone who has felt the need to write such hateful messages about someone they do not know is simply childish. Officer Vakulchik has children-- it is incredibly important to remember his children through this difficult time-- who can read and have friends that will read these comments. Life is no perfect and those out there writing such vile words about this officer should take a look at their own lives and the lives of their families. Put yourself in the shoes of Officer Vakulchik's wife, children, brothers, sister, mom... and keep your negative opinions to yourselves. Again, you are reading ACCUSATIONS. My prayers and support are for Officer Vakulchik and his family!

I've known this guy for over 25 years. He's a great cop, father, friend... Not everything is so black and white and in this country everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Anyone who knows him can tell you he's a good man and a hard worker. He's been through some trying times these past few years. I pray that in the end, these accusations don't overshadow more than 20 years of faithfully serving his community. To all the haters: all I can say is there's always at least two sides to every story. Why be so quick to judge before knowing all the facts? Officer Vakulchik, your friends and family support you.

How easy it is to judge in a vacuum; does anyone even care about the events that placed Wayne in such a desperate position?
The incident cited is a symptom of a deeper root cause. Wayne’s first wife was a closet drug user. Her habit selfishness, and lack of morals, created this final degradation. She depleted the family account behind Wayne’s back. By the time her addiction and the tremendous fiscal toll it took were discovered, Wayne still stuck by this broken woman. Wayne’s loyalty and commitment were herculean. The wife continued to use (an abuse) until the marriage was in shambles.
In her warped mind, she felt she had been betrayed, and sought unrealistic alimony payments, which the state was more than happy to grant (obviously, the State of NJ, has similar values to the haters out there).
The result, an honest hard working man, a victim of a wife hooked on cocaine, and vengeful, and a state unwilling to invest the shortest of time to discover the truth.
The unrealistic fiscal demands, motivated Wayne to take survival steps, he once thought beyond the realm of possibility.
All tolled, the lives of four children, and countless adults have need traumatized by the first wife’s drug addiction. The irony is that the first wife takes absolutely no ownership of her actions, she gloats even as I write this piece.
I’m a third party observer, but I know the facts. Now, all you holeyer than now people, think how easy this type of situation (well beyond your control) can be thrust upon you….
I suspect the judgment would be far less quick.

I will not condemn/condone the actions that are attributed to Wayne Vaculchik......there are probably many more underhanded cops in Piscataway than you can imagine.....a lot of them are long-time employees that seem to forget that the residents pay their huge salaries....it's a shame that the "big egos" take over rather than "to protect & serve"

I felt the same way about the Tiger Woods ordeal. Everyone acts as if they r of the highest moral fiber. People are not perfect.

This is why cops suck. All they are, are regular people that are granted authority over the rest of us who usually have worse personal habits than your average american, and who abuse their power regularly. Its so freaking annoying. I've met and heard so many stories of corrupt police officers its sickening. I have no sympathy.

Boy, I couldn't have said it better myself. Most of the cops out there shoot first and ask questions later. The cops I've meet have a motto: READY, SHOOT, AIM! Our cops in Woodbridge are cut from the same cloth. They are probably at the doughnut shop together with your cops right now, chuckling at how stupid we are for paying their absurd salaries and over the top benefits. Then they will help the local towns pay for this by handing out tickets to all of us!
I got a ticket in Edison, from a Woodbridge policeman.. saying that he pulled me over in Edison because it took him that long to catch up with me.. and he knew "it must" be me because I was driving a Scion TC and you don't see many of those around. He also said he clocked me in a location... I hadn't even been.

In order to get this ticket dismissed, I still had to pay court costs... what a ripoff!
Edison sucks and Woodbridge sucks, especially the police depts.

true, but i don't care how nice a guy he is.....stealing is stealing. if he stole something from your home instead of from the city or state, you'd be calling for his head. you're still paying for it from the taxes you paid for his salary. who approved his overtime vouchers?

sweetie, if you are who you claim to be and your father hasn't gone to trial yet, you might want to clam up. you're not helping his privilege of "innocent until proven guilty" here.

First of all, you are the one with problems! If you took care of your 3 children, your ex husband would not have ended up in divorce again with his second wife. Your girls all have issues and problems.. that's why his wife left. She couldn't deal with your girls issues. You need to step up and be a mother! What kind of mother leaves her girls? This is such a crucial time for girls to be with their mother. Wayne is not the problem, you and your girls are the problem. He is a great father and it's sad he ended up with all these issues because of you. Also, you never left him alone once you knew he was married again. Did jealousy occur? I think so! Maybe if you left him alone, he wouldn't have gotten divorced. Stop being a loser and take care of your kids. Don't you also still get Alimony? Why can't you work? Go work!

Its been over 2 years and my father got away with it. My mother has nothing to do with what he did. All im saying is that my parents havent been married for a few years. so how would he know what she does? im her youngest daughter and she has full custody of me and my dad has custody of my 2 older sisters. ive been with my mom since 2005 and i know everything she does because were close. My father got away with it. but im not saying anymore.

And this is her daughter speaking!:] you OBVIOUSLY dont know the real story and what my mom wrote is true. ive known my father for 16 years and he's a pathological liar. my mom DID take care of me and my other sisters no mater what! and you know what? SHE STILL DOES. so how about you get a life? because you obviously dont know the full story like the vakulchik's do :]
