How foolish and this is a reason America has problems...reguardless of what people do somehow some find a way to get right back out and do again. This is an insult to justice and here is a criminal out on the streets to rob and kill again.

Freddie Lester was a good man. Sad these two murders did not serve more time. Our system is messed up. is there going to be another trial?

Michael Hopkins is a piece of Sh!t who ruined a lot of peoples lives he pulled the trigger he knows who was with him and it wasnt davie it was his best friend who is dead now...Im so sick of people acting like mikey was so innocent that he was young and was pressured to do what he did thats bullsh!t he was already a menace. Do u know how many times that fool has admitted that davie wasnt with him its on court record. I feel for the lester family freddy didnt deserve that mikey should go back to prison for the rest of his life. Im sure the streets will get him though.

Karma is a b**ch and if these two fools have not changed I hope they get theirs. If they have changed than hopefully it will show through all they do now they are free. We cant control the court system, so I just pray these people are making the right choices by setting them free and no other family has to pay for these twos ignorance as the Lesters have had to.

You do realize he wasn't the one who actually committed the murder right? The one who did said he was involved and now says that he had nothing to do with the murder was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. So him serving 15 years for something he didnt actually do was wrong. Just because someone is convicted by his peers doesnt necessarily mean he is guilty

That makes perfect sense...he's a black guy that got caught up with the wrong people and was sitting in the parking lot in the car. so he is just as guilty of shooting somebody or even more....good point....who says he knew what was going to happen or not...the guy that pulled the trigger is saying he didnt know anything about it and shouldnt be paying for it...so yeah hes completely guilty

I really dont feel "Black Guy" has anything to do with it. IF you knew what I knew you would understand why I feel he is guilty and why a jury felt the same way!! End of story!! BTW he was not "sitting in the parking lot in the car"

The paper today has him on the front page and talks about him getting some McDonald's and how he looks forward to YouTube. 7 pages later buried in the last line of the story they say that Hopkins (the trigger man) who said hurt was not there and got him freed recanted his story Friday and said hurt was there.

it such a shame ...davie clearly was involved ...freddie was shot while he was trying to make an honest living...he was a good person...and as far as wvva news channel 6 is concerned how dare you put him on there like a he is some sort of local celebrity..shame shame shame..only one side when he is given an interview ...what abot freddies family...they overturned it because he says that he did not have proper counsel..not because he is innocent...it was such a joke of an interview haha davie is excited to where pants with pockets...well good for him...i wish freddie was still here to get to make thse choices ..i will never watch wvva again...justice will be done ...GOD BLESS FREDDIES FAMILY

You may want to read what my response was to before you say for me to drop the color crap...and im not saying he is or isnt innocent because he was black...im saying in response to another post that it seemed like they were saying he was guilty because they knew him...so therefore knew he was black...and with all the red going around here may have meant because he was black he had to be guilty...so just calm it down before you go saying im playing the color game

i know for a fact that Davie wasnt involved!! me and him go way back and i know what went down that night and after that before he was sentenced. ppl are so quick to judge others before they even know wtf is going on. the sad thing is that you never hear about the 3rd person in the car that went in with MH.
