They should be embarrassed that they let the guy off the hook!! If anyone else did that they would be under the jail! Whatever judge that handed down the sentence is a complete piece of shit! That is rediculous!

This entire ordeal is the fault of the WV State Police for both victims. The police tried to cover up their part in the beating of the young cop who suffered permanent brain injuries at the academy.

The State Police then took an almost 18 year old who had been in trouble with the law before to offer the bribe. When the cop did not take the bribe from the young man, the state police used the youth and his mother to try to implicate the cop through leading statement although there was no evidence of any bribe - just heresay. Then the State Police spent 4 hours trying to implicate the brain injured cop by using misleading statements he did not say and totally confusing him even though he told them the boy bribed him not the other way round and nothing happened.

So the State Police are responsible for both victims. The cop will never get better. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and his life was ruined in 2010 by the WV State Police. In fact, he should never have gone back to work except for the workers comp doctors who want to save the state money and let injured employees work even when they are disabled. Also the cop thought he had to work another year to pay Princeton Police Dept back for sending him to the academy.

The almost 18 year old was used by the State Police. He needs to step forward and tell his story to the federal authorities outside of WV - this in turn will get the real criminals in trouble - the WV State Police - Mercer County Detachment and their higher headquarters who came up with this plot. I know the cop and Holcomb, The cop who earned 11 dollars an hour lost his health, both emotional and mental health, his character, and his dreams. The young man and his mother should come clean and tell on the real criminals in this scenario.

Invisible in plain english, means then can do whatever then feel they want with no disciplinary action. The lack of discipline with the police around here is the lack of just that. Like the Princeton cop that got caught over the child thing and he was just slapped on the wrist and the judge was remorseful when he handed down the joke of a sentence he did.

If you people would read 5 years probabtion, really u will see that the judge gave all he could for the crime because a "deal" was worked out between the atty and that prosecutor. The judge is the one that stepped up and gave all the laws would allow because of that "plea deal" as far as that being a cop that wrote that up above about the State Police being at fault, blah blah blah, I doubt that. That was no cop that wrote that. Know what you are reading.
