it is very sad for everyone right now i have been reading some of the comments and it hurts me to no that my niece is the target she is a beautiful mother and she comes from a very strong and dedicated family we as parents can not say that we have not left our children once our twice before with a love one that we trust.if she would of none something like this was going to happen she would have never left the kids. she gave birth to her son and i can not believe the things people say but my prayers go out to you .as for my niece i love you so much and keep god in your heart because he is the root of all evil and my prayer and heart is with you.love your aunty 'S'

Yea, leave your 22 month old with a 16 yr old teenager, and not an ADULT!?!?! To bathe, feed, change diapers, discern between hunger cries, fatigue cries, pain cries. Oh, not to mention having to balance the needs of a 4 year old too...C'mon Aunty "S"... be realistic! The mom was negligent, at least own up to that much. I am sure she loved her son, NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT, but she used very poor judgment for a mother. Gee, common sense would really fit in on this one. Dont try to justify or paint a pretty picture of who she was, that really isnt important right now! Accepting responsibility is. I am sorry if I am sounding a bit angry, but I am. WHat was soo important that she had to leave both of her BABIES with a young teenage BOY. Whom I am sure didnt have any inclination of what to do in case of an emergency, evidently the natural Motherly instincts didnt kick in, as he is of male gender, and those feeling dont occur with males. Boys need to be taught. You do this for a couple of hours, not the weekend or over night! What was she thinking! And my heart does go out for her and her family. She will have to live with this for the rest of her life, that is suffering enough. May the Lord be merciful upon her and give her the peace to lead a productive life in the days to come. She still has another baby to care for, and he or she will need her just as much. So stay strong! Remember that the enemy only seeks to kill steal and destroy what the Lord has blessed us with. We all fall short! Even when it feels like we cannot go on, and through all the stones that will be thrown her way, just remember the only rock that will not hurt her, will be the Rock upon which She can stand on (Jesus Christ)! God Bless you!
