As a candidate, I was pleasantly surprised to receive the letter announcing the refund and I'm very glad to know that no expense was incurred by the county for the botched ballots. Best wishes to the Elections staff for an uneventful process for the November 2nd runoff.

Ranochak correctly stated "government can't make a profit". She might want to pass that along to her co-workers, because about there are many County Officials who are trying to do just that!

Dear Go Ham, speaking as a private citizen, we really don't need another crook (like Dan), e.g. Kendall Smith, in the BOS. Has your memory deserted you? He was kicked out of congress and has done more damage to our county than even Kendall or David Colfax (and that is saying alot).
