Lets hope this time the road commission gets it right! How much more money are they going to waste on that spot before it gets fixed?

The road commission doesn't have anything to do with it. M-20 is a state highway, so it is MDOT that either fixes it, or causes more problems.

I personally talked to them "The Road Comm., before the new black top was laid and ask them if they were going to put in a bridge, as a life time resident of the Village of Mecosta, "Not Big Rapids" I told them that this was an ongoing problem since before I was a kid.
Their statement to me was two things. One was that it would cost millions to build a bridge, and that the DNRE would not allow them to disrupt a natural wetland, I told him point blank he was full of crap, that is Shreader creek that cross's M-20, and a mile to the East on 60th ave. they put a culvert in, same creek, a mile away, same wetland, now pass the buck a little more.
Its time the top dogs in Departments start spending our Tax dollar responsible instead of spending all the money they get from federal funding, so that they can receive thew same amount each year. Do the job you told the people you'd do when you got voted in, or hired, or get out of your money seat.
