It seems too much to hope for, but Mecklenburg needs leaders who do not prey on the citizens fiancially. Developers are required to construct storm water drains for all their construction projects. Mecklenburg has never had flood problems as seen outside North Carolina. In 1994 the fees started out as a once a year fee. A few years later it became bi-annual fees. We have had the longest draught in more than fifty years. The storm water fees have never been justified. There is no justification in raising the storm water fees. The storm water fees are merely rip-offs.
Mecklenburg leaders are mocking the citizens with the storm water fee.
