I guess that someone in the know decided that this was a way to boost ridership. They must figure that all of the uptown people will jump on the train and go to the end of the line to buy their booze.

Great; Now the thugs and criminals can over crowd the trains and commit crimes at the sametime they are drunk. That's a good way to help generate the city some revenue. Thanks ABC, way to go!
