Even when times are bad, some people are still greedy and selfish. These landscapers care more about their wallets than their fellow neighbors' water supply. It is appalling.

Greedy and Selfish????? These small business owners have invested 100's of thousands of dollars to make a living. Some have mortgage their homes or even cashed in their retirement savings (wise or not it doesn't matter). These people pay taxes and employ many workers that also pay taxes. What if a governing body impaired your ability to do your job and make money for you and your family? Would you be greedy and selfish? I don't have all the answers and I know you "holier than thou" types don't either. We live in a capitalistic society and as a nation we do depend on business (large and small). This is neither greedy or selfish. Anyway, most of these people are good, honest, hard-working people.....they really could use our support. Maybe you could be so kind as to pray for rain?

These business owners knew that water conservation ordinances existed in their communities yet they chose to continue to operate and be exposed to that business risk. If you take the risk, accept the consequences.

No matter how you look at it, risking the water supply of an ENTIRE community so one can keep their busineess open is very greedy and selfish.
