Three same-sex couples request, are denied marriage licenses

Between about 11:30 a.m. and noon, three local same-sex couples - Scott Bishop and his partner Ron Sperry, the Revs. Robin Tanner and Ann Marie Alderman, and Joey Hewell and Scott Lindsley - requested marriage licenses from the Mecklenburg County Register of Deeds.

You ignorant rednecks. Gay people deserve to be married and be equal. OK, so one man's pecker isn't created to fit into another man's rumphole with KY jelly. And a woman is not created to either wear a fake plastic men's organ or lick another woman. But up in New York we are more sophisticated than you and we see this is OK as long as the partners love each other.

Also, a woman has a right to privacy if she wants to kill her unborn baby through abortion. And real feminists are lesbians anyway.

You ignorant crackers need to listen up and be more like your northern yankee transplant betters.

Think about it, if you have the brain power to do so.
