Roundabouts are not trendy, they are obsolete. In New Jersey they have done away with them as they are dangerous and people fail to navigate them properly. Today's drivers busy with cell phones glued to their heads will never concentrate let alone yield to another driver trying to enter or exit the roundabout.
We don't need them, stick to traffic signals at least they give a little hope that drivers will pay attention to.

They work when idiots learn how to navigate them.
