Spring Hill will draw on strength
#1 Jun 7, 2009
local politicians and union workers had nothing to do with GM not pulling the plug on the Spring Hill plant. GM made the decision based on one factor, money. If they think they can make money keeping the plant open, or closing the plant, that will be the determining factor. It does not matter if we keep our chins up, our heads down, praying, begging or pleading with GM. Good luck Spring Hill and everyone who calls it home.

While it won't be pleasent if GM pulls the plug totally, Spring Hill will survive.
If it goes that route, I believe many people who didn't think the assembly plant mattered much to the local economy, will see things differently.
The biggest thing is to support the small local business owner as much as possible. Those are the guys we need to help with our shopping dollars.

a few more houses on the market and many more commuters on the road to Nashville.
