It makes sense if you think about it. What are the odds that anyone in Spring Hill will need emergency care anyway? Plus, even if you do, just drive to Franklin, it's not like it's an......emergency!
Miller is the problem

It's all about money. Dennis Miller (Williamson Hospital CEO)has made a carrer about cut throat politics. As a result, WMC continues to extract large sums of government money while being a mediocre hospital, at best. Take a location with great interstate access, direct all county ambulance traffic to it, staff it with doctors and nurses who can't get a job a in Nashville hospital and you have WMC. The only way Miller can keep his 6-figure job is to steal that money from unknowing patients. Ever see WMC publish clinical outomes information? Ever see an ad that says that WMC is better than any Nashville hospital at anything?
Now Miller will again use the County Mayor, aldermen and his board to attempt to sell the public the myth that putting an ED in Spring Hill is a bad idea. Meanwhile, he will rack up another $500,000 legal bill that you and I will pay for- and you can be assured that while he is doing this, another Spring Hill mother, father or child will die in the back of an ambulance going north past WMC on I-65.
How long will he be permitted to lie to people? Probably until he retires (on a pension funded by you and I..)
