The first thing you need to do is bring in OSHA and the Federal Government to check the air quality of the manufacturing plants and there effect on air quality and the peaples health here. Then you need to revitalize the down town and get more businesses and manufactureing and distribuation here. You have a rail line and the county airport as tools to help pull them in. You also need to find ways to promote Mt. Pleasant maybe find ways to turn this into a tourist attracattion, with maybe the civil war or ethic groups who settled here. But first you must clean up the air quality and to clean up the run down state of alot of builds in this town.
