Why don't you give me 100 reasons why she should STAY.
p.s. My apologies for going off topic from Linda's 12mpg Luxury SUV.
I'll start the list off for you....
1. She may sign the Stop Rail Now petition.
Go!
Easy but one haven't even named one yet after claiming there is ton. So weak. Here's a few:1)opposed gas cap 2)made the city paid for rail excise tax 3)support teachers in the last strike as oppose to her opponent who remained neutral 4)supports Superferry along leading Democrats, though still questionable it creates a second mode of transportation and jobs at no cost to the state 5)wants to preserve the north shore from commercialization development 6)vetoed HGEA demand for pay raise 2004 7)did not call up the national guard and declare a state of emergency when Abercrombie told her to when Aloha airlines shut down 8)attempts to keep unions in check vetoing Senate Bill 1642, mandatory binding arbitration bill, and many more 9)wants local communities to have more say in the education process versus state-wide education system 10)lower taxes such as asking lawmakers to raise the stand deduction and did in 2006 and many more 11)wanted tougher laws on drug traffickers 2004 denied by congress 12)pushed measures thru imposing regulations on the sale of common cold medicines that contain pseudoephedrine, an ingredient used to make crystal meth. 13) pushed through a measure to clarify the registration process for the state's online sex-offender registry 14)pushing for improvements on mental health care such as getting it cover by health insurance. 15) oppose the bottle bill as essential a tax, the state is sitting on tens of millions of unclaimed deposit dollars in fund doing nothing. 16) she was elected by the people. 17)She is not a rubber stamp for democrats to do anything they want. The most vetoes ever in Hawaii. Unless you feel thinks were so great under Waihee and Cayetano. 18) she has demostrated she can work with democrats for the good Hawaii as stated by her from Bunda and Say in the past 19)worked to bring more tourist from China 20)has helped try to the past the Akaka bill for Native Hawaiians.
The list can go on and on. What's the point if I do put 100 things up your not going to change your mind anyways. So weak.
Again not that you care Angel but between Democrats and Republicans of which I am a Libertarian. However feel that Lingle is doing a better job than any Democrat could especially Hirono or Iwase ever could. I’d like to point out a difference, Cayentano after being Lt Governor for 8 years, his first day as governor after looking at the state’s financials said “Where did all the money go?” 8 years! and never bother to look at the books as a matter of fact any democrats. Now Lingle first after being elected, Calvin Say speaker of the House said something like “Were going to closely scrutinize her.” Then gives her a “B” grade after her first 100 days. They let Waihee do and get away with anything while Lingle IS closely scrutinize as she should be and has done a decent job considering while under the microscope, how many department heads, appointees, judges, bill, and vetos have been rejected or overturned and having her powers stripped as well vs. 8 years of not knowing the finances. Angel so weak. I'M STILL WAITING FOR THAT TON, then i'll list my 80 more reasons. But you couldn't list 1 one 1 other thing yet I won't hold my breath on it. Weak!

Actually, your comparison of complaining about the governor to denying the atrocities of the Nazis really scares ME. I think you really need to reexamine your views.
Opinions on politics are one thing. Don't try to sensationalize by comparing that to denying the deaths of millions. That's pretty sick.
You missed the point completely.
I was not comparing complaing about the governor to the denying the atrocities of the Nazis.

The point is that there are people in this world that will deny even the most blatently obvious and factual data available. Even when the data and facts were witnessed first hand by hundreds of millions of people, my father being one of them.(so back off, i have room to talk. i am here only because "they" missed one.)

With that said. there are people in this state and on this board, including many of you, that will deny that there was ever a problem with anything in hawaii until the republican governor showed up. no matter what she does, she will always be wrong in your eyes. and when you ask how it got this bad, the answer is it's all the governors fault, completely ignoring 50 years of history and facts.

I think you're the one who's wrong. What you said very clearly compared complaining about the Governor with denying the Nazis did what they did.

I'm glad your father escaped death by the Nazis. But don't tell anyone to back off because of that. My father died fighting the Nazis. So did my uncle. Maybe they even died so your father could live. But the last time I checked, this was America and people can say what they want. I would never deny them that.
