how absolutly shameful of MECO and Ed Reinhardt to propose something as greedy as this. When everyone is asked to take a pay cut you have a monopoly going after the last few pennies left on the table. SHAME ON YOU!

Unreal electric rates in the islands!

Lived in Makawao for several years in aq 600 sq. ft. cottage. Didn't use the stove much. My bill was about $180 a month then (2006).

Moved back to the Portland area in 2008. People complain here about 7.5 cents KWH.

Just wait till Obamas cap and tax passes!!
