I think the Sheriff's Department Bungled the whole Case to start with,They did'nt take the Missing Person's situation serously enough , Anyone who can put one and One together and come up with Two would know, that The Suspicious Fire + Three Missing Person's (one of who is a Mother herself that would never have left her Children) mean's something bad has happend,They also waited way to long before bringing in the State Police who are better Equipt and have expert's in such matter's, Now what do they have to go on ? Cold Lead's & Dirty Crime scene's

This all is so heart breaking... Wish the sheriff department would of took it more serious.. I think back at the interviews with Powell thinking they were just run aways.. Shame on the sheriffs department.. Thank God the state police got involved. Hopefully like you said it's not to late to gather evidence which would of been much easier in the first 3 weeks.
Praying they find Jeff....

Totally agree this Powell guy dropped the ball. They should be held liable for something. Everybody around here new something wasn't right. But Powell been a cop should know better then to say. Oh they just ran away!! They should fire that cop so he don't drop the ball on other family's. It's called neglect of his duty to protect the citizens of southside. Now madder now may times he bumped into the missing 3 they are still human an should of been treated as human.
