Mason County Infant Dies Of Asphyxiation

Investigators say a six-month-old boy died from asphyxiation on Monday in Mason County , but they are trying to find out how it happened.

It is a very tragic thing to have to go through. I feel for the family and hop e that one day they will find peace in knowing thier little boy is in a better place with the lord above.

Now I don't know all the details but there's been a rising number in child deaths due to asphyxiation. Just don't sleep with your child, I know sometimes that hard when their hungery in the middle of the night, but I always kept my son in his crib at night unless I was feeding. Get up, don't be lazy and do your job. Don't pile a bunch of stuffed animals and pillows in the crib. I dunno about some people but I checked on my kiddo all the time, I just got used to waking up every couple hours to check on him. Get used to it. Your a parent. Now I'm not trying to blame anyone involved in this incident. I'm talking about all the incidents that have happened. People have to be more responsible.

rumor has it from someone there that night. the mother was sitting snorting pills and the baby started crying, the mother got up went and put the bag over the baby to keep it quiet and went back in the living room to snort more pills. what a shame! every doctor that gives these drugs out should be in jail. the baby is in a far better place. the mother should go to jail and quit trying to blame another innocent 2 year old.

Hey i am not judging them. All i was saying a responsible parent does not show pictures of weed and OC`c on there page like they are dealing drugs or even doing them for that matter! I think its horrible what happened to that baby and i pray for them to have strength every night.

You people need to get a life and leave Kayla and Jaun alone. I was with the family last night and the two of them are really hurting and grieving really bad. They also have two other children so why in the hell would they hurt one of them and not all of them. Who cares what they do in thier spare time? I have never once seen her with any of those kids as to where see hasn't taken care of them. I will totally agree with you. People need to keep their mouth shut and for this matter keep their rumors to their self. I have known Kayla for a long time and I thought the world of them and still do. I just hope everything will be okay in which I know it will be hard. I hope she never finds out about this site and if she would ever it will hurt her so bad. A heck of alot worser than how she is hurting now.

I don't know these people at all but this is such a terrible thing and my heart breaks for them. Instead of pointing the blame you need to go give your children extra kisses and hugs because we have no idea what is in the future. It's so sad and I could never imagine losing a child. My prayers are with the family.
