I would like to know what the person who judged my post disagrees with. Are you an atheist? Even Walker said "thank God"
Probably the same person who thought I was nuts because I gave some explanations on how Walker could have been paying for his defense team. I guesss they never heard of a 401K or a retirement system that one has money in.
No surprise

An innocent man was found innocent again. Our justice system doesn't always work, but it certainly did this time. Glad he's finally vindicated.

Great news! We told you all along WhoIBe, but you just seemed to know the Prosecution was "winning" the whole time. Shows how much you knew! Jerry was innocent, and the jury agreed.

I am glad that he was found innocent. The justice system may not always work like no surprise said but it did this time.

you sure wrote:
<quoted text>Might not have been a waste if he was found guilty and a family could have had some type of closure for the loss of their son and another one who has to live with burns all over himself.
That's a big MIGHT...and if he was innocent and wrongfully convicted would they have still felt better? Not saying he is innocent or guilty but the evidence the state had put them in no position to convict and put the family of the victims on a unnecessary emotional roller coaster...that was wrong.

You all can attack me all you want but the fact of the matter is a boy is dead. Walkers attorneys caused enough reasonable doubt to gain a not guilty verdict, but someone still got away with murder and I pray for the Minger's. Justice is far from perfect but God will call for answers.

Yep, regardless of who did this, there is a son who Is gone forever and a young man who has to live with injuries from the fire. And someone got away with it. I am not saying that is Walker but could be someone from the rugby team or someone else.

I'd rather have 10 guilty people walk free before ONE innocent person is put behind bars....it's the give and take of our system.

I was at the trial everyday as a person that thought Walker was guilty. However, after seeing the lack of evidence against him, and speaking to him (he and I spoke at the coke machines one day. He was very up beat, polite, and friendly.) I understand the decision of the jury. I have though guilty all this time, but after seeing the trial, I believe Walker to be innocent and I am glad the right verdict was rendered.

interesting comment wondering.
He might very well have done it, but I couldn't have voted him guilty. I don't think he should have been re-tried.

Normally, I see posts from you playing devil's advocate. It's nice to see that I agree with you on some things. And this one, I do. I've had a family member wrongfully convicted, and still serving time for something they had no hand in.

If I'm on a jury and the prosecution doesn't prove their case beyond a shadow of a doubt, I will acquit every time. I hope the police do a better job and find the real criminal here. All families involved deserve real detective work and not shoddy half assed crap.

Are you for real?? Just because someone is very up beat, polite, and friendly doesn't mean they couldn't commit a crime.
