It's a traffic grant you idiots. It's money awarded to the Sheriff's Office that doesn't come from the Fiscal Court budget. It's for traffic enforcement- stuff like dui's, speeders, wreckless drivers, seatbelts, etc. It has nothing to do with the wet/dry vote or the school system budget. I swear you people on here are clueless.

Yes, but the school system needs the money worse. Wrong appropriation at the government level.

Hmm.... Let see I thought the SAYNONOW had all the "money " problems solved in this county I know I heard on the radio or read in their ad that the prediction for the school enrollment and their financial outlook for this year was better than projected. I wonder if the vote YES had been successful and the monies toward alcohol sales went toward law enforcement allowing the monies that they would have been given from the Fiscal Court be used toward the School System (don't say this can't be done because I ATTENDED as well as Kieth Travis, the Murray meeting and the question was asked and the answer was YES from the ABC) Oh well we will never find out. Let us suggest they block off the streets around the court house and the SAYNONOW group gather and come up with ideals to keep the county from "driving in the ditch" (and please make sure the redneck man in the silver short bed truck from the TV ad is the guest speaker)It's now THEIR time to drive this ecomony ready, set GO!
