I dont feel like the BPD is doing all they can to help find my cousin.Cheif of police says there is not enough of evidence.Monesha is missing what more do you need. She has never been gone this long without contacting her family. It doesnt matter how a pesron lives they are still somebody. You going by what someone tells you about their lives and you feel like she just went off with this man because of how they live. Then why hadnt she disappeared before like this .Come on now this doesnt make sense at all.Somebody out there know something. You got three people together one gets out of the truck you been riding with this guy and you dont know how he looks dont get a name then you leave my cousin in the truck with this man you was the last person to see them.Dont make sense.Monesha picture isnt on the news enough and its not out there nationally. If she did leave with this man i dont think she did it to her will.We are asking for your prayers and the police department help.

People have to understand that we all have a past. You must not forget you have a family to and dont take this personnal your family wasnt perfect.People gets on my last nerve forgetting where they come from.I guess you are judge by how you lived, who you kin to what church you attend ect in order for you to get help. But I pray to God she is okay and we wasnt to late cause somebody is going to have to answer.Whats really crazy is that you think she left with the man okay wheres the man at,where is she at therefore that spells missing.Monesha didnt tell know one where she was going at.This is just a shame we have to look else where for help.

The Benn Police Department is a joke. They don;t care about anything and dont take things seriously. We have one woman who is killed by her husband and because they didnt do their jobs,he almost got away with it. Thanks to her family members who didn't give up.....that punk is going down. Now we have this 29 year old woman who is missing....for a month..what the heck. This is what Im talking about. A JOKE..This lady wouldn't just up and leave her children this long. Who cares about her lifestyle. She is a human being and we need to find out where she is. This is ludacrious. The whole police department needs to be investigated. I feel bad for this town, because if you have people in authority positions not caring and taking their jobs seriously, its a scary and sad situation. If anyone wants to get away with a crime, commit it in the city of Bennettsville, SC. I can't wait until they get the chief of police out of that position. He doesn't deserve it. Maybe if he let that part time job of coaching go, he can do a little more with crimes. How you going to have a part time job, and you can't even sucessfully fulfilled your full time job........Im just saying.

My heart aches so bad right now.Our family member is missing and the police is doing nothing to help us anymore. Then there is a an add in the paper about a dog on the front page with his family who have been missing four about three weeks has return home.My cousin cant even get a search party for her. Then theres a add in the paper of her on the second page with no picture. How an the world the public is suppose to know who is missing if they dont know how she looks. The phrase we all look alike is not so!!!By the grace of God we will start our on search.I know the weather is hot but we are asking all of those who will please come out n support us we will be out on Saturday and Sunday. We have people who are prayer warriors.People just dont know how we feel right about now not knowing if Monesha is dead are alive. If she is alive please let her call home or bring her back to us.If she is not please tell us where she is where we may have a proper burial.Somebody out there know something about her where abouts.Somebody know that man who she was last seen with.We are begging you.Just think that could be your love one out there.Know one shouldnt have to go through what we are going through. The sleepless night every knock at the door and every knocked at the door. The one person that has seen Monesha alive on June 4th is not a person of interest havent taken a lie detector test or nothing havent ben pressured are nothing.Com e on people. We will get answers!!!

I agree there is not enough media coverage of this case. I noticed the very small article in the MH paper. I could not believe that the return of a missing dog was more important tham a human being that is still missing!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family members.

Who Are We To Judge A Person?
We all have some dirt in the closet.
Here is a young lady that is missing and a mother is crying out for help to found her child. No matter how and what become of a child when they become an adult, they are still somebody's child.
I feel for this mother, all she is asking please help found my child. It have been four (4) weeks and no Monesha, somebody out there know something.
As for as the BPD, Ms. Brown's mother and uncle went to you for help, but it like everytime you were approached you were going to talk to this one or that one, well there are some questioning that are not beig asked:
1. How did they know this man?
2. Why out of all the streets in Marlboro County, why Amelia Street?
* Because he been going down there all the time.
* No stranger in town know our street. They will deal with the main streets or roads here.
3. How do we know that, the last person(s) did not have something to do with Ms. Brown's disappearance.
* How many times was this person(s) questions?
* What was their reaction? Maybe they did something to her and pointing the finger elsewhere to get the heat off of them.
Tell me BPD you ran the report in the Shopper and the Marlboro Herald Advocate newspaper last Thursday (June 24, 2010), but not her picture, WHY?, how do anybody know who they are looking for. Come on we are talking about a human being.
This department should take things more serious, if there is a traffic stop you will see maybe about three (3) or four (4) cars coming one to a car.
I hope and pray for this family to found peace. And do what you have to do for your love one. Because you see the authority are out for themself.
To the mother of this young lady, keep your head up, we know it hard. But nobody know a child like a mother. A mother is there when nobody else for her child.
Thanks to Tonya Brown and WPDE 15 for airing this story last Thursday (June 24, 2010).
BPD you need to remember you are working to help the public and keep them safe. You are not there to judge a person character.

I am not trying to be rude to you,but your comment was very unnecessary. If you were the chief of police, could you really do better? Its so easy to complain whe every one is under such strain and is nervous about a loved one. Now that she has been found, did you write a thank you the Chief of Police? I notice that her family did. Some things are just not needed to be said.

Your post started out very good..Who are we to judge...Why did you get so far away from that concept as you continued? Is it not judging t say that the police are not asking this or that question? how would you know that unless you are there?

I use to live in Bennettsville.I grew up between Bennettsville and Wallace.I dont care what color u r or what u do in life. That dont give anyone the right to treat this girl like that.I have a daughter and a son and I know how it feels to know that ur child is missing.I thought we were brought up to help people not hurt them.My sister works for the BPD and I dont think that she would do anyone like that.My sister puts her life on the line everyday that she walks out her house.I dont know about the rest of BPD what they will or will not do but I do know that my sister will help anyone. While yall r sleeping or working she is protecting u.Im sorry for ur lost an may GOD be with u an help thur the pain but dont bad mouth anyone let GOD judge them like u would want them to do to u.Because my sister is a good person and when u say BPD u talking to all of them.Dont let one bad apple spoiled the show.
